Inside the screen, Lois takes a deep breath and wipes away her tears. She smiles, or rather, tries to smile.
Lois: Well... My beloved Sebastian, I'm sorry, but I couldn't hold back the tears. That's what happens sometimes when you lose something you love, but what am I saying? You don't know anything about it. You never cry and I envy you so much for that. How do you do it? I don't want to imagine you don't have feelings. But never mind! It doesn't matter anymore. I don't want to sound dramatic, but nothing matters to me anymore, and you know why? Because I am dead. You killed me, Sebastian. You took me to the top of the world and then you let me fall. You pulled the rug out from under me and threw me into the abyss. But I don't blame you. I can't blame you. You were just doing your job. I should have been more careful, maybe more suspicious, but still, I never stood a chance against you. What hope can a sheep have against a wolf?
Lois takes a deep breath and Sebastian plops down on the couch, propping his head in his hands. This is exactly what he was afraid of. Lois has learned the truth. Lois knows everything.
Jared walks over to him and sits down beside him. Sebastian falls into his arms and he hugs him tightly.
Sebastian: I screwed up, Jay. You kept telling me, but I didn't listen and now I've lost everything.
Jared: Don't give up hope. Maybe we can fix it.
