The next morning Lois and Sebastian take a walk through the woods behind the house. They do this a lot, as long as Lois stays locked in the house. Besides, this area is safe. The guards and the gang are constantly patrolling and checking every inch of the property.

Lois becomes happy in these moments. The taste of the wilderness and the presence of Sebastian by her side make her forget all her problems.

Things are going well. They talk and laugh lightheartedly until Sebastian suddenly stops abruptly and begins to smell the air.

Lois: What? What's wrong, Sebastian?

Sebastian: Someone's here.

Lois: Who?

He pulls her to him and wraps her in his arms.

Sebastian: I don't know. I don't recognize the smell.

She closes her eyes and begins to search for that unfamiliar smell that is not so unfamiliar after all. Lois may have never smelled it before, but she knows very well who it belongs to. That smell belongs to someone who would never hurt her.

Lois: I do.

Sebastian: Lois, no!

She frees herself from his arms and runs in the direction of the smell, with Sebastian following her, terrified.

A few yards down the road, Lois walks out into a clearing and she was right.

He is there

He is there. He's kneeling in the grass, between Odysseus and Penelope, the house's two German shepherds. How is that possible?

As soon as the dogs see Lois, they run towards her at the same time as Sebastian, who, seeing the unknown man, brings Lois behind him and moves into attack position.
