~ A LITTLE TIME LATER ~

Sebastian sits in the middle of the bed, his back against the headboard, his arms wrapped around Lois, who sits between his legs and leans against his chest. He wants her to contain herself to avoid any kind of bad reaction when she learns the truth.

Lois: Well, what's this very important thing I need to know?

Here we are, Sebastian. It's now or never. Hang in there! You got it.

Sebastian: Tell me, please, what do you remember about the attack?

Lois' body tightens in his arms.

Lois: Sebastian, I can't tell you. Don't push me!

Sebastian: Baby, it's very important or I wouldn't insist. Please tell me exactly what you remember.

You are doing fine, Sebastian. Go on!

Lois: I don't remember much. Peter was drunk and Mark drove us home. I hadn't had anything to drink, but the son of a bitch wouldn't even let me drive because he didn't trust me. At some point we pulled over because Peter wanted to puke. I stayed in the car with Mark because it was cold. And then he... Mark, I mean... suddenly attacked me. I don't know why. He never showed any intentions like that. He seemed so good. And I didn't do anything. I swear it, Sebastian. I never provoked him. I wasn't wearing any slutty clothes either. I swear it. You believe me?

Sebastian: Of course, I believe you, baby. I never had a doubt in my mind. Go on.

Lois: When he attacked me, I started screaming. Peter heard my screams and ran back, but Mark hit him, and then he went on with me. I don't remember anything else. I woke up in the hospital.

Sebastian's blood is boiling hot. That bastard messed with her mind. He's got the story all wrong.

Sebastian: Tell me something. Do you remember Mark attacking you? I mean, do you remember him touching you or anything?

Lois turns and looks at him in amazement.

Lois: Why are you asking me that?

Sebastian: Answer me.

Lois: Honestly, no. I don't remember that. The last thing I remember about him is putting his head on the steering wheel.

Come on, Sebastian. Now is the time. Do it!

Sebastian: Kitten, that night Mark didn't attack you. It was someone else.

Sebastian feels Lois stiffen. She presses his hands against her body. Even her breath comes out with difficulty.

Lois: If it wasn't him, then who was it?

Sebastian: Peter.

Lois: Peter? No. No. It can't be. No way. No. Why would he do that? It was Mark. Peter told me... My parents ... Mark was jealous of Peter. He wanted to hurt him, and because he couldn't hurt him, he hurt me. That's how it happened.
