Mary: Once upon a time, there was a blond, beautiful little boy...
Between you and me now, how can you tell someone that his father, the man he admired and adored, was an adulterer who cheated on his wife and lied to his son? How can you say that what he knew about his father's death was a lie? How can you ruin his entire childhood? It's hard. Too hard!
But let us let Mary tell the story to Jace and see what Lois is up to. Lois. The real victim of this story.
~ SEBASTIAN's AND LOIS' HOUSE ~
Lois is on pins and needles waiting for a phone call. She has her cell phone and Sebastian's cell phone on the coffee table, and she's trying to be adult, but she's not doing a very good job of it.
Sebastian is in the kitchen preparing a light meal for her.
With tray in hand, he comes into the living room and as soon as he sees Lois, he bites his lips to keep from laughing.
Sebastian: Kitten, that phone device you are wearing on your head is old and pretty expensive. We don't want to break it. Yes?
Lois: You think that's why it's not ringing? Because it's a Jurassic piece of crap?
Sebastian frowns.
Sebastian: Shame on you, Kitten! This Jurassic piece of crap is fully functional. Don't insult my tools!
