you went to meet him, "Welcome home Darling"

you smiled, cupping his cheek "I missed you too, how did It go In Liyue"

"All was well, I've actually never been to Liyue before, but It was quite the place"

he then reached into his sleeve, "I have a present for you, call It souvenir if you will"

she went to sit down across from you both, you gave thanks before starting to eat and Ayato told of his days In Liyue, he told how he met an very wise man by the name of Zhongli

you all continued to eat while talking, and when the meal was finished you helped Thoma to clean up, even though he Insisted that you leave It to him, afterwards you and Ayato prepared to sleep for the night, just as It started to rain once again, but this time there was a thunder rumble
