Ukai sat down on with a frustrated grumble. He wasn't in a very good mood and Takeda forgetting his birthday made it even worse. When he had woke up no happy birthday, no hugs or kisses. Nothing.

He laid back and kicked his legs like a child throwing a tantrum. "Ukai~" Takeda's sudden voice from behind the door made Ukai smile, but he soon remembered he was mad at him.

"What?" he spoke with an icy tone, but as the man walked in with a platter full of food and a cupcake, his anger dissolved into excitement. "Is this for me?" Takeda nodded and sat the bed tray down.

Ukai's eyes wandered over the tray sitting sights on a card. A sudden flick of a lighter tore his gaze from it to the cupcake. His favorite kind as well, chocolate.

"Happy birthday" Takeda sang. "Thank you" Ukai blew out his candle and made a wish. 'I wish we can be together forever'. He smiled at the thought.

"What was your wish?" Takeda questioned. "Uh uh uh can't tell you or it won't come true" Takeda playfully rolled his eyes. "Read your card" Takeda let a soft smile stay on his face as he read it over in his head.

"Okay" Ukai picked it up and read the outside of it first. "Lots of love from the best husband" Ukai chuckled as he opened it.

He began reading inside his head,

"You make me laugh when I want to cry,
Make me live when I want to die,
Make me smile when I want to frown,
You turned my whole life upside down.

Believe in me wen no one else does,
You're my now, my is, my was.
When you call my name, I begin to blush,
I'm afraid people notice I need you so much.

When I'm with you, time flies by so fast,
It's like the present is the past.
I need you more than you can believe,
Love you more than you can conceive.

I think about you every night and day,
And hope my life can stay this way.

I don't want it to be any other way.

I love you Keishin and I hope to be with you till our final days" Ukai dropped the card and pulled Takeda into a hug kissing his face all over. "Thank you" he repeated over and over. Takeda only giggled at the affection shown.

"Now eat. I didn't make you grumpy all day to make you food you won't even eat" Takeda tore himself away from the clingy man. "I thought you forgot" Ukai shamefully chuckled.

"How could I forget? We go through this every year" Takeda laughed, pressing lips to his forehead. "I love you" his voice was barely above a whisper. "I live you too" Ukai closed his eyes in comfort.

"Now eat!" Takeda chuckled leaving the room to grab him a drink.

"Love you!" Ukai called just as the door began to shut.

A/N~ So this sucks also the poem isn't by me it's by Trinity grace and wonderful poet and it's called U make me. I didn't see he birthday in my notes so this was rather rushed but hey 3 updates in a row lucky y'all! I was listening to revenge and fun fact I love poems! Anyways I love you and stay healthy!
