Shadow decides to land on a nearby shore. He sighs as he looks back up at Angel Island. He decides to try to find something to pass the time with. When he thinks about what he could do, he feels lonely. Sonic has other friends to spend time with, but not him. His friend was Maria; she is gone. His friend is Rouge; they started to drift apart. His friend is Sonic; he has to stay away. He remembers he has a certain relative he can visit, and teleports to Dr. Eggman's lair.
"Greetings, doctor.", he says as he arrives. "Oh, hello Shadow,", Dr. "Eggman" Robotnik greets, continuing,
"What has brought you here?"
