"Psst, Shadow—", the black hedgehog hears. Hey, Sha—"
"Shut your mouth.", he interrupts the unexpected tagalong. "Sonic, why did you come here?"
"Sorry, I didn't realize you were on a mission, yet. I decided to run around and happened to come across this place. Fancy seeing you here—!", he whispers loudly, as he now looks around, now noticing departing Guardian Units of Nations vehicles.
"I see."
"Hey. Can I help?"
"As much as I appreciate your offer, I have to decline."
"What! Why?", Sonic asks loudly, making his audio an attention magnet.
"Quiet your voice!", Shadow scolds in embarrassment.
Sonic quiets himself again.
"It's because you're not an official agent.", Shadow finally answers, "This mission is confidential and potentially too dangerous for uncertified civilizations."
"Since when was I scared of danger?", Sonic scoffs.
"You have a fair point, but this is no time to take chances."
"Where do I get the certification then?"
Shadow sighs, "What will I do with you?", he thinks.
"Well...?"
"Sonic, calm down."
"Okay, I get it."
"Since you're already here, stay low."
"Okay."
