Sonic suddenly falls from the sky, for an unknown reason to Shadow, but he notices, seeing that he is nearing the ground with higher velocity each second. He uses his hover shoes, leaps up, and catches him while he is in the air, giving him a gentle descend to the planet's surface. "Thanks, Shadow!", Sonic shows appreciation and relief. "You're welcome. What were you doing up there?", Shadow says.
"--Nothing new. I was raiding one of Eggman's new bases. It was a sky fortress."
