Shadow is visiting Sonic's house and suddenly hears a clanging noise from Tails' workshop. The hedgehogs decide to see what is going on. "NO!", Tails exclaims, which the duo now sees he is reacting to a now-broken handheld device of sorts on the floor. "What happened here?", Shadow inquires. "I was trying to fix this, but I accidentally knocked it onto the floor. Now the pieces are everywhere!"
"Can I help?", Sonic offers. "Really?", Tails responds.
"Yeah."
Soon, Sonic, following his instructions, fixes it with him. "So, what does this thing do anyway?", he asks. "It's a radar system.", Tails answers. "Oh, cool.", Sonic replies. "I'm surprised you knew how to build it.", Shadow teases. "Who do you think flew my plane before I met Tails?", Sonic playfully hints. "Ah.", Shadow acknowledges.
