"Good job, dude!", Sonic congratulates, after one of Eggman's robots is destroyed. "Sonic, it wasn't me, so you're the only one who did anything.", Shadow says, as he is literally standing on sidelines of the city street they are. "Are you congratulating yourself?", Shadow playfully asks.
"No, I literally didn't realize I was the only one doing anything."
They burst into laughter.
