It is months later. Sonic is visiting Shadow's home city, Station Square. He suddenly notices the television flicker out of focus before playing a broadcast from Dr. Eggman.
"Greetings, Mobius. I would like to inform you that, in two hours, I will send a devastating shock wave from my new space base; and if you do not surrender your planet to me before then, I will destroy your cities and take them myself!" He cackles, before looping the message.
Sonic's eyes narrow in disgust, and he dashes off, ready to give chance.
