Ukraine, Belgium, America, England and several others who I've not yet decided, suffered from bone cancer / radium poisoning around the 1900s.
America and England had fairly many clocks coated with radium. Ukraine and Belgium had radium in their lipstick e.g..
Most of it ended by Romania spreading the dangers of Radium (at this time Ukraine already suffered bone cancer).
