Chaeyoung's POV

It's been a week... It's a shame to admit that I'm afraid to the kid's decision.

I want Mina to myself but it's different now, She has a son to look after, She has a son to take care of... and Her son seems not to like me

It's hard because, I can take care of both of them, Even if we aren't rich, I could work my ass off for them but I don't even know if Minchae will accept me or just Atleast appreciate my existence.

Mina is still sleeping, I plant a soft kiss on her forehead and go downstairs only to see Minchae already seating at the couch watching some cartoons

I get the milk, Cereal and two bowls for us and place it at the table in the living room

‘ What do you prefer? Strawberry cereal? Chocolate? Or plain grain like what your Mom likes? ’ I asked he looks at me and pointed at the strawberry one

I nods and place the strawberry cereal in both of our bowl then milk, I get all the boxes and place it back to the kitchen before I get two glass of warm water, Mina said it's bad to drink cold water early in the morning

I sat not so far beside him and watch cartoons with him while eating

‘ It's been a week ’ he spoke
‘ Yeah. it's a shame to admit but I'm nervous by the decisions you will make ’ I admitted

‘ You should ’ He said

I sighed, I bet nothing's changed... he still hates me.

‘ A deal is a deal... You played well ’ He said and spread out his hand asking for a handshake so I did

‘ But it's not enough ’ He said and pulled out his hand
‘ Nice to meet you, Son Chaeyoung ’ He said and left

Nothing's clear, But I bet I lose.

I clenched my fist, I can't leave Mina... He's just a kid, why would I follow our deal? But I'm the one to set the consequence... I'm so done.

I stand up and walk back to our room leaving the bowls and glasses in the table

I get in the room seeing Mina still sleeping, I sighed and get My jacket

‘ I just need some air Love... Forgive me for not trying enough for your son... It's not my intention to lose, I love you so Much Minari ’ I whispered and plant a soft kiss in her lips

she slightly moved so I step back and walk towards the door, I look back at her face and left.

Mina's POV

I woke up and smile, Remembering how our date last night went.

Chaeyoung is so sweet and tender, She knows how much I love playing games that she bring me into a amusement park, There's also a lot of arcades and rides

We ride in a ferris wheel, She knows how much I'm afraid of heights but she made me feel safe inside her embrace

I also remember how she spend every second with me as if it's our last, Telling me that she loves to spend her entire life with me.

I stand up and walk towards the door

I go downstairs but I only see the Tv playing and two bowl of cereal and glass of water in the table

That's new, Chaeyoung hates to left her strawberry cereal in a bowl of milk she said it's all soggy and weird to eat

I sighed and knock on Minchae's door

He opened it and smile

‘ Goodmorning Mommy ’ He spoke so I leaned down and let him kiss my cheek which I did the same
‘ Goodmorning sweetie, Have you seen Chaengie? ’ I asked

‘ We ate cereal together though, I don't know where she is now ’ He said so I nods

I get my phone and dialed her number but the phone rings come inside the drawer... why would she leave her phone?!

I sighed and clenched my phone.

She probably buy something for lunch, I told her stop going to grocery alone, so stubborn.

It's already lunch and she's still not here. Do I need to get worried... Nah, She won't stay out that long she'll probably be back later

But why would she leave without telling me tsk. That woman jinja.

I cooked some lunch for Minchae and immediately go infront of my Laptop to facetime the girls

‘ Do you girls saw Chayeoung? or Did she messaged anyone of you? ’ I asked

‘ We haven't heard anything about you guys after we part ways in the airport, why? Is something wrong? ’ Momo asked

‘ Nothing's wrong, but she's not here the moment I woke up and she left her phone ’ I said
‘ You're probably not used on Chaeyoung leaving the house without notice ’ Cassy said

‘ Yeah, she used to do that ’ Jeongyeon added
‘ Specially when she's thinking something or deciding something serious ’ Tzuyu said

‘ But you said there's nothing wrong so why would she do that ’ Dahyun said
‘ I Know, She never left without telling me or she's leaving a note whenever she don't want to disturb my sleep... But right now, Even though How hard I look for some sticky note everywhere in this house there's none. So I'm just thinking she said something to any of you ’ I said and sighed

‘ Asked your son, he probably did something ’ Mira said and shrugged while cassy hit her forearm
‘ Don't say that ’ Cassy reprimand

‘ Right, he said she saw Chaeyoung earlier ’ I said and look at Minchae who's focusing in her food
‘ Mina, don't act foolishly okay? He's still your son ’ Jihyo reminded

‘ I know, He don't like Chaeyoung at all. I feel bad about Chaeyoung because she's trying her best for Min ’ I said and sighed

‘ Stop sighing Miguri, She'll be back in no time, We all know Chaeng can't leave you ’ Momo said and smiled
‘ Now you've said that I became more anxious ’ I said and facepalm

‘ Come on cheer up, she can't do that... why would she wait for you all these years just to leave you? ’ Sana added

‘ but it's different now, I have a son... what if she had enough? What if she's already tired? ’ I spoke... I'm overthinking this bad.

‘ Send your address and we'll pick Minchae so we could look for Chaeyoung ’ Nayeon said so I did and type it down to our group chat

‘ please come fast, I'm worried ’ I said
