32. Ash's Reborn Story

Chapter 2 Victoria and Cain

Ash: I know that Reborn is quite a mess when you told me about it, but I never thought it would be like this...

Ash and Delia are now walking at Lower Peridot Ward, they are heading to Opal Ward, which is the location of Grand Hall.

Delia: It has been years since I've come here, but it is getting worse and worse. Anyway, I just hope the Grand Hall is the same as before.

Before entering the Grand Hall, they find a girl standing in front of them. She has raven hair and she is wearing a kimono.

Victoria: Hey, are you Ash and his mother? I'm Victoria. It's a pleasure to meet you, but is everything okay? I heard what happened at the station...

Ash: We're okay, or else we wouldn't be here in the first place. (Chuckles a little)

Victoria: (Looks at Ash and blushes a little) Let's go ahead and get registered. Don't worry, it shouldn't take long. Let's go inside.

After getting inside the Grand Hall, they find Ame at the counter looking through some papers.

Ame: Oh, you're here already. And I see you two got acquainted with each other.

Ash: We met at the gateway and we talked a little, I guess she is the trainer that you mentioned to get registered for the League as well.

Ame: Good. There's no sign of any suspect yet, but I've got several officers out searching the area.

Victoria: Suspect? In the station bombing?

Ame: That's right. If anyone responsible for the incident is in the area, we'll find them. But until then, we'll probably have to restrict travel between the wards. Anyway, new trainers don't need to worry about all that; it'll be taken care of. Let's finish your registrations. (Turns to Victoria) As for you, Victoria. Obviously, the main event is picking a starter.

Ash: What kind of starters can we find here? Are there new Pokemon?

Ame: Reborn doesn't have new Pokemon like other regions, but we can find all the Starters from the other seven regions here in Reborn. New trainers here can just pick either one of them, or if they want, we can help them choose a starter that's suited for them. Some Trainers say picking a starter is the hardest decision of their journey.

Delia: I can tell, to choose one from 21 is difficult.

Ash: At least I overslept and got a Pikachu instead. (Pikachu snickers a little)

Victoria: So that's what you've picked, Ash. Don't worry, I won't pick just to beat you; that's silly. I already know which one I want anyway.

Ame: Well then, shall we?

Victoria: (Nods) Okay. Wait here for me, Ash?

Ame: Also, Z- I mean, Delia, can you help me with something? Since you're back and you couldn't just leave the region, so I thought...

Delia: It's fine, Ame. I'd like to help.

After the three females leave, a purple-haired boy walks in and notices Ash.

?: Heyyy, you're cute.

Ash notices the boy and he is confused since the words sound like he is talking to him.

Ash: Did you say anything?
