Chapter 134 Legendary Birds

After getting back to the Night Club, they find Cass there as they are ready for another mission of Legendaries.

Cass: Hey! You're back. I've already heard that everything went well at the castle. Er... "well" is a strong word when your house merges with an alternate realm... But you found everyone and took care of the anomaly. Which, good! A LOT more have shown up while you were gone.

Ash: A lot?

Cass: Like, a lot a lot. Thankfully I've gotten some help back here with managing everything. The other attendants back here are also handing out information on anomalies. Talk to them, too, if you haven't already!

Ash, Serena, and Lillie are confused as they didn't see anyone, but that means there will be someone other than Cass to tell them about the details of Anomalies.

Cass: Anyway. There are birds! There have been reports of a pretty bird, an angry bird, and a bird that is literally on fire showing up in the region. Given the whole 'legendary' situation, I'm guessing they're Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, respectively.

Ash: Great...those three...

Cass: We don't seem to be detecting any weird readings, though, so I doubt they're anomalies. I've marked where we got the reports on the map, though. There's a report from Apophyll, a report from Ametrine, and a report from around Beryl Bridge. My notes say that they're in... "Thematically relevant locations"... Whatever that means. Go check them out!

Lillie: (After leaving the Night Club) So Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, they have come to the Reborn Region as well...

Ash: Though it was a pain trying to deal with them in the past.

Serena: I know what you mean, but you did evolve your Talonflame and Noivern after battling them, though.

Ash: I guess you're right. Let's go to Ametrine first.

Ash and the others are now on top of Ametrine City, and they are searching for Articuno. After asking for directions, they finally find the Pokemon on top of the mountain.

Serena: That sure was a long way up the mountain, it is a good thing we have the TMX for Fly to help us out.

Ash: I agree. Since you weren't there when I first came to this city, so I'll tell you what happened. The reason I came here is that I wanted to get the TMX for Waterfall, but the path is blocked.

Lillie: Blocked?

Ash: A PULSE Avalugg has been growing and is blocking the road. It is thanks to Greninja that it is destroyed.

Serena: But if the Avalugg was blocking the road, won't there be any food sending up the mountain?

Ash: That's why Heather's trying to save them, but eventually, she was found out by Blake and she was held hostage in the storage.

Lillie: Blake was the one who you fought back in the Sapphire Cave in Victory Road, the one who kept using Sandslash to attack us, right?

Ash: Yeah. At first, he stole the Ruby Ring from us, and we have to chase him all the way up to the top of the mountain, and thanks to Heather and Cal, we managed to get the Ruby Ring back.

Serena: So that means Articuno must be on top of the mountain...

Lillie: Then we are going to climb for some more...
