Chapter 139 Swords of Justice

Lillie and Mars are now with Ash as they arrive at the Night Club, and right now they find Sandy at the counter this time.

Sandy: Ash! Great to see you again! I hope you're doing okay despite all this work.

Ash: Indeed. How are you as well?

Sandy: I, for one, am great! I've made great friends with the showers, and working the desk is just lovely. Nobody yells at me, nobody poops on me... And I still get to help make a positive difference! It's really everything I've ever wanted.

Mars: (Whispers to Lillie) So she was the troublemaker that you told us about?

Lillie: And the Ground Type specialist.

Sandy: So, let's get to it! I've got a delightful little report here about a Cobalion being sighted near Route 3. Apparently, some folks saw it from the circus' Ferris wheel. Caused quite a stir, they did, and spooked the poor thing away! Anyway, it seems likely that there's another door up there, and I'd reckon that it's better we find it before the circus-goers do! Whaddya say chief, up to it?

Ash: So this time it's the Swords of Justice...I guess it will be fine for us.

Sandy: That's the spirit! Now go get 'em! I'll be right here! Where it's safe!

Then Ash, Lillie, and Mars are now at Route 3, and they find the gate inside the cave, but when they get inside, they find the Ringmaster there.

Ringmaster: Wait, come back- Ugh! (Rushes forward)

Mars: Who is she?

Ash: She's the Circus Ringmaster. Let's see what she's up to...

After chasing after the Ringmaster, she is now in front of the glowing Cobalion.

Ringmaster: Finally... Now listen here, you... whatever you are! You caused quite a ruckus at my- (Cobalion flees) Hey, get back here; I was trying to chastise you! (Turns around and sees Ash, surprised) Uh, hi, Ash! How long have you been there? Heard you fell out of the world or something...

Ringmaster: Uhhh, well, no, this is great! I could use your help! You see, people at my circus keep seeing this thing running around Route 3, and if it's not "Oh no, what's that?!" then it's "Come on, let's go find it!" It's just horrible for business! So I decided I'd put a stop to it myself! But as you can see it's just been giving me the run-around... Dad would be so disappointed if he saw me flailing about like this... He always-

Just then, a Virizion appears in front of them, and it is also glowing and leaves.

Ringmaster: Did that Pokémon just poof into existence right in front of us?! Uh- okay, change of plans! I'll keep chasing the first Pokémon; you deal with that one! I came here to have less problems, not more! (Leaves)

Ash and the other two girls decide to chase after Virizion, and they are also surprised that it will attack them while chasing after him. After that, they manage to surround Virizion and Cobalion.

Ringmaster: We got them! All right, now's our chance!
