32. Ash's Reborn Story

Chapter 37 Entering Byxbysion

Serena is now walking the Kalos Region, due to what happened when she met up with Clemont and the others, she has been wearing a disguise while walking on the streets. When she walks into the woods, she finds the Pokemon who is sitting on the edge of the cliff. The Pokemon is Greninja, Ash's ace Pokemon in the Kalos Region alongside Pikachu. Besides the Greninja is two Pokemon that are resting, they are Zygarde Cores, and one of them is called Squishy.

Serena: Greninja, there you are.

Greninja turns around to see Serena, as he widens his eyes since he hasn't met her or the Electric Gym Leader for months.

Squishy: Serena, we're glad that you come. Where is Bonnie or her brother?

Serena: (Frowns) Greinja, Squishy...there is something that you need to know. The thing is...

Serena decides to explain the whole betrayal thing, and all three of them are furious.

Squishy: Are you serious? Do they want Ash to give up his dream? Bonnie and her brother also agreed to it as well?

Serena: I don't want to believe it as well...I was there, and they threatened me to agree with them or else I would suffer...it is a good thing that Ash was eavesdropping, or that he would treat me like those people...

Greninja is trembling, how dare they try to force his trainer to give up his dream, and they even try to hurt Serena if she doesn't comply.

Z2: And what about his Pokemon? Do they believe in Ash or with those people?

Serena: All of the Pokemon are with Ash, we have actually met Arceus, and he told us that Ash brought them to the Reborn Region along with his mother.

Squishy: We know, he is doing a mission for Father Arceus...however, during these days, Greninja is not happy.

Serena: What's wrong with Greninja? Is he okay?

Z2: Since you humans can't understand what Greninja is saying, let us translate for you. Greninja can feel his emotions from Ash, and he is feeling Ash's sadness right now.

Squishy: Because of it, both of us have cells watching over him...and we also learn what kind of environment is Reborn...the region is dying...

Serena: D-Dying? What do you mean?

Squishy: The water is polluted, vines are destroying the towns, Pokemon and people are dying...all because of a group called Team Meteor and their creations known as PULSE.

Serena: PULSE? What are those?

Z2: From what we saw, they are Pokemon attached to the machines so that their powers are amplified, they were also killed when they are defeated...

Serena gasps in horror, as she can't believe the place Ash is in.

Squishy: Ash has already defeated 3 PULSE Tangrowth and a PULSE Muk...however, he is sad because he killed Pokemon...just because he wants to save the mess made by Team Meteor.

Serena: No way...

Z2: And recently, he attended one of the schools in the Reborn Region so he could get a machine to save the children being kidnapped by Team Meteor...however, he has to witness his teacher being killed by the commander of Team Meteor...this is why Greninja is depressed right now.

Serena covers her mouth with tears in her eyes, she can't believe Ash has been through, and yet he can't get to Reborn, because of the bombing of the train station causing the whole region to lockdown.
