Chapter 140 Forces of Nature

After getting back to the Night Club, Ash and the others decide to let Samson go in first while he and the two girls are resting at the house. After a while, Mars and Lisia are the ones that accompany Ash to the Club. Samson is having a drink, while Ciel is still on the dance floor.

Ciel: Ah, he's back is he ...Well, it's not that I'm not grateful! I just... don't know how to face someone like that, you know? "Thank you for saving my life at the cost of your own; care for a tea?" I'll have to think about it, But it is surely a weight lifted nonetheless, and you have my gratitude.

Ash: No problem, we're glad to bring him back.

Then they decide to talk to Samson at the bar.

Samson: Hi. Glad you made it back. I wanted to say sorry for back there. I don't remember everything that happened back there... but I've been getting bits and pieces. Remembered enough to know I need to apologize. If you and the Boss hadn't found me there... Well. Thanks.

Ash: It's fine, by the way, I hope your relationship with Ciel is getting better.

Samson just nods as Ash and the others go to the counter for another mission, and this time Aster is the one there.

Aster: Ash. Good to see you again. I know the feeling may not be mutual, but I'm just here to do my part. Clean up the mess I helped to make. You know? Maybe make her proud.

Ash: I see...I'm glad.

Lisia: (Whispers to Ash) Who is this guy?

Ash: He was a former Team Meteor member until we witnessed his girlfriend being killed by the Chandelure sucking her soul.

Aster: Forget about it, all right? We've got a mission. So there are a few reports coming in from around Route 4, right? Several portals opened. Anomalies. Weird weather patterns. We need someone to get up there and check it out. Our equipment's reporting three different portals from the look of things, so you might need to really dig through Route 4. You good for it?

Ash: Weathers, huh? I guess it is going to be those three... a good thing I found the Reveal Glass.

Aster: Like a plan, then. I'm around if you need a reminder, backup, or anything else.

After that's done, they all head towards Route 4, it is a snowy place, but the first portal can be found after getting from Agate City.

Ash: This place is also big...but how are we going to get to the other platform?

Mars: (Touches the ground) It seems like there are some invisible paths on the ground, maybe we can use them to get to the other side.

Lisia: And if it is dangerous, I can always call my Flying Type Pokemon to take you back up.

Ash: (Smiles) Thanks, girls.

After moving along the way, they finally reach the end, but it is not the Anomaly, but the white sphere. Ash touches it and it just creates a path to the other platform, which has basically nothing.

Mars: What does that mean?

Ash: I guess we need to activate the other two white spheres so that we can get to those Anomalies...

Then they decide to find the other two doors, there is one which can be found after Rock Climbing the walls and they activate the second one, and the last one is found when Rock Climbing from the Calcenon City's Route 4. After all three of them are activated, a new path appears that leads to the Forces of Nature.
