32. Ash's Reborn Story

Chapter 191 Giratina's World

Now Ash, Serena, and Lillie are back at the Night Club since the other girls decide to do their Anomalies on their own now that Ash has introduced them to everyone else. Serena and Lillie come because they just want to help Ash.

Zero: ...Ah, hi. As usual, I'm glad you came around. I wanted to, uh, thank you for helping Lumi. I heard it's going well... That's good. If anything happened to her or Eve, I... Well, I'm not sure who I'd be.

Ash: Nice to hear about that. So what's the mission this time? Rayquaza?

Zero: No. We've got a new situation... And that situation is the total lack of situations. Everything's gone totally dark. Either Lin's gone totally silent, or she's doing something to cover her tracks. I'm not sure which I like the idea of better, but we haven't been able to detect a single Anomaly since the last round of things ...Anyway, sorry, I don't have anything for you. Not for now. We had one small blip of something over at the meteor site, where you found Deoxys. But we didn't find anything else there when we sent someone to Citrine to check, and it's unlikely something would reappear there so soon anyway. Maybe something will change if we wait long enough, but for now, we're either grounded or flying blind. Hunting Lin down is just gonna have to wait.

Serena: So we have to look for the New World that has the Deoxys...

Ash: I don't know why is that, but let's go there.

After heading back to Citrine Mountain, they find the Meteor, but standing beside the meteor is Ash's mother, in her Zina form.

Ash: Mom?

Zina: Once upon a time, a belt of meteors swept across the universe. But one day, one of those little meteors became a shooting star instead. And even though it disappeared from the world forever, do you know what that little meteor did? It lived happily ever after, in the joy it brought, and the hearts it touched, and the smiles it inspired in its final moments. And it seems the same will be true for my little meteorites.

Ash: Okay? But what are you doing here?

Zina: I was always still looking out for you. Anna's Pendant was mine once, it let me shine bright enough to save our home. And just like her, everyone forgot about it. Now it's let her save the ones she cared about, and she, too, is dimming. You've also been touched by too much of its power. From carrying it, and no doubt, from your battle with its source. But I should have been let go a long time ago. Some people are just meant to be like that- Fireworks that shine bright, light up the lives of everyone around them and then go out as quickly as they came, fading into the night sky.

Delia: So this is where you are.

Just then, Ash, Serena, and Lillie turn around to find Delia, and they are surprised to see two of the same person in front of them.

Ash: What is going on? Why are there two Moms?

Delia: That one is actually my original powers. I had the same powers as Anna, to see things that we couldn't see. However, ever since we are killed by Solaris and revived, my powers have gone out of my body. Ever since your hunt with Jirachi, I have been secretly investigating this. And I'm here to reclaim my lost power.

Zina: Let me go out with a bang. Would you share in one last delusion with me?

Ash is surprised that her mother is going to battle him, well, not his true mother, but her powers. Ash goes for Hawlucha while she goes for Zoroark. Zoroark goes for Flamethrower, but Hawlucha dodges the attack and goes for Karate Chop, dealing a lot of damage. Zoroark goes for Nasty Plot to raise the stats, but Hawlucha lands a Flying Press and knocks it out. The second Pokemon is Delphox, it uses Dazzling Gleam to knock out Hawlucha, so Ash goes for Empoleon, using Hydro Cannon and Flash Cannon to knock the Pokemon out.
