Chapter 192 Definitely Not Mewtwo

They decide to talk to others back in the Night Club, and they find Ace there at the sofa.

Ace: Trouble with a disappearing dragon, was there? You know, I always did think it was a bit queer, the wasteland packed more whimsy and pizzazz than you could punt a whiffle at. Why would that be? Some kind of Legendary force just living out there? Something real that no one could see? Things like that- they're always in such a way that someone must be trying very hard to keep them hidden. It is perhaps surprising that someone of my persuasion didn't see through the ruse sooner! Ah, but if we could see all of life's illusions with just a glance, then what would be the point of looking at all? It does this performer a spot of good to be outmaneuvered! Still, all for the best for you to still the beast. And don't bother asking something silly like how I would know what happened. Didn't I ever tell you? I can read minds, you know!

Ash: I guess maybe you're right about that.

Ace: Still finding all those antagonistic Anomalies out there, are you? I've heard quite magnificent tales of all the magic you've mustered on your journey! Ah, you needn't be shy about it, little hero! Why, what's the gain of embarrassment? Only to dim a spectacular show! You've committed an admirable amount of splendor amongst all your adventures- but even then, what is any adventure but another stepping stone to the stars? Let yourself shine- the stars will thank you themselves, to see another among them!

Serena: That sounds nice, but I think we should try to do another Anomaly request.

Lillie: Then let's not waste time.

Then they also get to the Counter and find the Ringmaster there.

Ringmaster: Hey, I don't suppose I could ask you for a favor... This doesn't actually have anything to do with hunting Legendaries, but we've been trying to get someone to look into this- Apparently, a suspicious individual has been haunting the Battle Pavillion lately? He keeps sweeping it clean, making weird noises, and then disappearing. I don't suppose you could go have a word with him? As the Champion, I can't think of a better person to root him out from there.

Ash: Sure. But how are we going to find this guy?

Ringmaster: Oh, lovely. Good, because the whole ordeal was really starting to creep me out. He's been seen frequently in the Singles Battle Pavillion circuit. Good luck!

Ash, Serena, and Lillie are confused, so they go to the Singles Battle Pavillion to find out if they can see the mysterious guy. After winning four rounds, they finally get to the fifth round of the Battle Pavillion.

Referee: Now our fifth match for the battle, we will be having Ash Ketchum vs. Definitely Not Mewtwo!

Ash, Serena, and Lillie are dumbfounded as they see Mewtwo wearing a hat, black glasses, and a coat walking towards the field.

Ash: What the...you're definitely Mewtwo!

The mysterious figure doesn't say anything as it sends out Probopass to battle, and Ash goes for Lucario, using Aura Sphere to one-shot, but it has Sturdy and it goes for Earth Power, dealing a lot of damage to Lucario, but in the end, Probopass is defeated by Bullet Punch. The second Pokemon is Amoonguss, and it goes for Spore and Giga Drain, knocking Lucario out, so Ash goes for Charizard next, using Heat Wave to knock it out. The final POkemon is Mewtwo, much to their surprise, and it just Mega Evolve into X form, but Ash has Charizard defeat the Pokemon with just Air Slash.

Definitely Not Mewtwo: I see you're stronger since we last met, Ash.

After it is defeated, the mysterious figure also takes off its disguise to reveal itself to be Mewtwo.
