Chapter 61 Iolia Valley

When Ash notices a room that has the Aether Symbol, he is surprised as he walks in. Only to find a lot of bloody bodies of researchers.

Ash: This can't be a good sign...

When he notices a small gate, he looks inside to find a Pokemon that he is surprised to see, a Type: Null.

Ash: Type: Null...so this is the place where they create this Pokemon...

Type: Null is growling at Ash and Pikachu, and Ash notices the blood in its mouth, he realizes that this Type: Null is the one that killed all the researchers there. When he tries to attack Ash, Ash quickly dodges the way.

Ash: You have to calm down. I know you're in pain, right?

Ash tries to comfort the Pokemon, and he can tell how hurt it is because of the helmet it is wearing. Ash also notices the documents on the table and realizes that they have killed a Carvanha, Unfezant, and a Luxray to create this Pokemon, he can only stare in horror as he tries to comfort the Pokemon. In the end, Ash decides to capture this Pokemon by throwing a Poke Ball, and maybe when Reborn can contact the other regions, he would ask Gladion how to raise this Pokemon.

And when Ash mines a Rare Candy in the Beryl Wall, a man has stolen it and Ash has to chase after the man. After defeating the man in the battle, he got the candy back, and he gives it to another man to exchange for a Piplup.

Back at Subseven Sanctum, Ash puts a Soul Candle on the altar where Luna was held, and he gets a Litwick in the end.

Now Ash has finished everything in 7th Street, he decides to head back to his father's castle so that he can find the Iolia Valley that Luna spoke of. As he gets down the hole behind the tree, he finds himself in a cavern. But he gets to a dead end already.

Ash: So how am I going to continue... (Notices a Red Crystal) Maybe this Key can help?

Ash takes out the Red Crystal Key, and it reacts to the crystal and there is a crack in the wall. Ash uses Rock Smash to get through, and it reveals the path. But unknown to him, someone is actually behind Ash as he follows him.

Ash notices that the cave is really dark, but it is short, after getting out of the cave, he finds himself in a valley.

Ash: So this is the Iolia Valley...I admit this is really beautiful...

Then Ash decides to navigate through the place and also find some Pokemon living here.

After getting out of the Red Crystal puzzles, he finds another Crystal Key on the ground, and it is Green Crystals.

Ash: Didn't we see a Green Crystal back at the beginning? Maybe we should go there.

But Ash feels someone is following him, as he turns around, he finds no one there, which causes him to be confused. When he activates the Green Crystals, some of the bushes turn into Rock-Smashable Rocks, and Ash breaks them to reveal some path for them to go through. Before he can go into a Red Crack, he hears a voice.

Bennett: Ah, so that's where you went.

Ash: (Looks up to see Bennett on the upper level) No wonder I felt someone following me...
