32. Ash's Reborn Story

Chapter 3 Start Exploring

Back at Kanto Region, Professor Oak and the others are waiting for Ash to return, but he hasn't come.

Misty: Where is he? Why isn't he here yet?

Dawn: That's impossible! He should have come back here.

At the same time, Tracy rushes back to the lab with a horrified expression.

Tracy: Professor! All of Ash's Pokemon are missing!

May: All of them are gone?!

Professor Oak ran to the computer and tries to find them, and just like what Tracy said, all of them are gone.

Serena: You don't think Ash... (Decides not to finish the sentence)

Brock: (Looks at Serena with a dangerous look, causing her to shiver a little) Ash took them?

Oak: That's impossible, Ash would've rung me and asked for them.

Max: Then where are they?

Oak: I don't know, but I'm going to the police and report this.

After everyone leaves, Serena is now kneeling on the ground, tears start to burst from her eyes, as she doesn't want to betray Ash like that. Ash is the person she loved and she doesn't want this to happen, but she is too weak to fight back. She just hoped that Ash didn't know her betrayal and hoped that he is somewhere safe.

In the Alola Region, Lillie and Gladion are now at their house, they have heard what happened to Ash and they are furious. But when they turn on the news, they are horrified at what happened.

Reporter: The train to Reborn Region has been destroyed, and the authorities are trying to find the culprit behind all of this, and with that, the region is locked down...

Lillie burst into tears after hearing what happened, she knows Ash is on that train and the same train explodes. Gladion quickly comforts her by pulling her into a hug.

Lillie: Why does it have to happen to Ash? This is not fair.

Gladion: Lillie, the police are trying to find the culprit, but that doesn't mean Ash is dead. His name is not on the list, maybe he is alive somewhere.

Lillie: I hope you're right... I don't want my best friend to be dead like that...

Gladion sighs, he knows about Lillie's feelings for Ash, and he also wants Ash to be safe so that he can have a battle with him in the future.

Back in Reborn City, Ash is looking at the polluted water. He can't believe that the water is dirty and the region is a mess. But just as he sits on the bench to think about things, time freezes again.

Arceus: I see you finally made it to Reborn.

Ash: (Notices Arceus standing in front of him) Arceus, why do you want me to come to this region, I mean, I almost got killed by a train explosion. How am I supposed to find your offspring in this region?

Arceus: I know you can, that's what we believe. To save my offspring, I want you to also capture as many Pokemon in Reborn as you can, they will be helping you on your journey.

Ash: Won't I have too much Pokemon to take care of?

Arceus: Why yes. But don't worry, it is not just your mother, I will also help her out. After all, I was the one that revived your mother from her death.

Ash: (Widens his eyes) Wait, what? Death? My mom was killed?

Arceus: That's not my story to tell. You'll have to wait for some time for her to tell you the whole truth.
