Chapter 186 Normal Anomaly

While hoping for Rayquaza, Ash, Aria, and Lisia are now at the Night Club, and they find Simon there.

Simon: Newest emergency on deck. You know the meteor? As in THE meteor?

Ash: You mean Arceus' Meteor?

Simon: It may have been found. And where that is, there's a chance Lin is there as well. Ciel and Samson have gone to scout it out, but we're rallying more backup if it becomes necessary. You'd make a good vanguard as always too. The meteor was found in a New World gate inside Citrine Mountain. In case the worst is afoot, it may be best to hurry.

Aria: So it is not Rayquaza...

Ash: But it will be a good opportunity to find another new Anomaly...

The three of them rush to the Citrine Mountain 3F, and they quickly enter the New World Portal to find themselves in the New World. Ciel and Samson are already there as they greet them.

Ciel: Ah, Ash, you're just in time... is what I would say if there were anything to be in time for. But folks always are saying things like that, aren't they?

Samson: Meteor's a dud.

Ciel: Rather. We were summoned up here on the pretense that this was Team Meteor's titular space rock. It appears that is not so.

Samson: "Team Space Rock" almost sounds cooler though...

Ciel: It doesn't. Terra said the original meteor should be sealed in crystal, but there's not a speck of crystal here to be found. We can only assume that this is some other, run-of-the-mill brand meteor.

Samson: To be fair, she also said it was covered in several other things, such as rubber Duckletts, and glycerin-free lube.

Ciel: Yes. I am choosing to ignore all of those things, thank you. All in all, this is an utter letdown.

Samson: I was looking forward to knocking Lin's skull for what she did back in Agate too. But it appears petty vengeance will have to wait for another day. Been searching around for too long already and there's nothing to do. We were just about to throw in the towel when you arrived.

Ciel: You're certainly welcome to stay and admire the pretty space rock if you're so inclined, but adjust your expectations accordingly.

Samson: The actual meteor's still gotta be out there somewhere. Best we save our energy for when it actually comes to.

Ciel: Ta-ta for the time.

After that, both Ciel and Samson leave, and Ash and the group continues to look at the meteor.

Aria: So we're really here just for nothing? I was hoping to find some new Anomaly...

Ash: I think I might have a clue about this one...(Looks around) There seem to be four paths with four meteors...

Lisia: You're suggesting that we should touch those meteor rocks to see if something is going to happen?

Ash: Might as well.

As they are pressing the meteors, Aria decides to ask Ash a question.

Aria: So what kind of Legendary Pokemon or Mythical Pokemon is related to meteors?

Ash: Now that you mention it...I think I know one...
