Dear Diary,

Before I forget, I want to quickly tell you a story that made my day! So Lucas and I were hanging out today. On our way back to my place, I was driving us on the highway and him and I were hardcore jamming out to Bella Cio by Steve Aoki. We were jamming and since it was a double lane highway, a small black car drove up beside us. We continued to jam out. The car with two teenage guys sped up a bit and they were gesturing that they wanted to race. Both of the guys in the car were looking at us. Unfortunately, my turn off was coming up so I couldn't shrugged my shoulders trying to tell them I had to turn soon.  The guy in the passenger seat turned back as we were slowing down and gave us a heart with his hands. I smiled and gave him a heart back! That made my whole day! Imagine if I met them again! That would be crazy!

So next topic, I got a new job! Since I have moved into the city, I got hired at Party City close to where I am living! I have only been there for probably 2-3 weeks already. So far, it is going really well! I have made some friends! Since I am working full time, I'm working five days a week and getting roughly 8-9 hour shifts. Since minimum wage got recently moved up to $15.00, I'm making $15.00 per hour. In regards to some friends, I have made a few. There is a guy around my age, a mother who says she really likes me, another 25 year old mother as well. Recently, I have also gotten my picture taken and posted on social media already. I saved it on Instagram. Long story short, Party City fundraised a bunch of money.

I also cut ties with Liam too. I told him that everything just feels off and that I just don't think I should do what I was doing what I was. He stopped talking to me then decided to block me on Snapchat. It is a very immature thing to do and I was pissed when I found out what his dumb ass did. Then a few days ago, he actually reached out to me again. This time, on Instagram. I replied with "hi..?" Then we had a conversation regarding how he blocked me on Snapchat (he avoided talking about it) and why I cut ties with him. He apologized and told me that he wanted to start over and leave all that shit behind. He admitted that he shouldn't have done or said anything that he did. Then he said, "I like you, idk". I asked if he did then he said he did. Liam told me that he does like me and that he wouldn't have done any of that if he didn't. Which makes sense. I almost had a pity moment for him, not going to lie. I almost wanted to cave in a start talking to him again. But I stopped myself.

Besides, with recently joining this app called Slowly, I do still get to talk to people (on average) everyday. Because since moving to the city, I have been very alone. None of my friends live in the city. Coworkers don't count. I just see them at work and never outside work. So its not like I'm looking for someone to talk to. I do have friends on Slowly to talk to! Slowly is a "pen pal" app where I can talk to people from all across the world! Its all anonymous and your profile picture is only a generic cartoon. You pick who you want to talk to based off of common interests and not off looks. When you send "letters" to people, they come in delayed. Giving you the feeling of waiting in the mail for the letter to arrive. So the farther away someone lives from you, the longer it'll take for their letter to be received. I've met some pretty great people! There is a guy from British Columbia and he also has a girlfriend named Sarah! He is a sweet and nice guy and we have a massive amounts of things in common! We've came to the conclusion that we're the same people, just different genders. He has suggested some Indie kind of songs that I would like and as he expected, I loved all of the songs he suggested!
Next I started talking to this girl from the UK. She is so nice! Since our letters take 19 hours to go through, we don't text too often. One main thing that I have learned from her is that she is a major tea enthusiast!
Next, I have been talking to another guy. He's 17 and also from Canada! Except he is more east in the country. Part of me thinks he might have a crush on me. On this app, if both parties accept the request to send a receive photos, you or your friend can send pictures of either you or of your culture. I sent him a photo of basically the top half of my face and he called me cute. We get along really well and have lots of common interests too. He compliments me in at least every letter too. Our letters takes 8 hours to go through. I know what the two guys look like. They're both good looking. My 17 year old friend sent me a "teaser" picture. So I don't know his full appearance, but from what I have seen, he seems good looking. I haven't even sent him a full picture as to what I look like either. 

I've always wondered about that with Slowly, since I am making friends and feeling less alone, I wonder if I am actually going to meet any of them in person. I'd love to though! Especially all if my friends I told you about!
