"I knew it, yet I still make my hopes high," Maki disappointedly whisper to herself before she shift her cold and dagger-like glare at the towering figure at her right, not far from where she is standing. "The swimming is just a bait, right? That you, and Dazai-sensei, really bring us four here just to exorcise those spirits inside that place."
Underneath the white bandages that is seemingly covering his sight, Gojo move the attention of his bright blue eyes away from the old, abandoned light house, with at least hundred feet high, at the top of the mountain that they hike hours ago.
"That's right~! But at least I let you enjoy the beach before we come here~?" he playfully replied before coming near them with a duffle bag in his left hand.
"Wow! The view is amazing here!" Panda commented after he finished admiring the beauty of the glistening clear sea in its top angle. "It's still 5pm, right? Now I wanna finish our mission fast so we can also see the sunset in this view. It will surely be more beautiful and amazing."
"Shake." Toge then pointed out the group of birds flying freely on the sky. "Tuna, Tuna?"
"Ah, yes, I think those are migratory birds too. I heard in the news yesterday night that its their mating season," Yuta confirmed.
As the three continue to admire the view in their front, Maki decided to use that chance to ask Gojo about Dazai's whereabouts and why she suddenly leave without saying anything to them.
"Oh, that~? She got a message from one of your senpai's."
"Senpai?"
" Yeah, she doesn't say the specific reason." Gojo then gave her an assuring smile while taking something inside his duffle bag, "I just know that Kirara suddenly asking her to go back. "
"And she really did?"
"Yep~! And I'm not even surprised." A silent scornful laugh escaped from his mouth. "Pft~! That kid surely did something terrible to even message her directly like that."
Maki didn't say a word for a second, before she slowly shift her gaze back at her classmates that is still enjoying the breath-taking scenery of the sea, and the land and sky that giving more emphasize on how beautiful nature can be.
"I guess you're right." She then take her three-section staff on his hand. "Those two are just troublemakers even from the beginning."
"I know right~! But you know, they are still good kids, sometimes~? In right circumstan—"
"But I think there is still something wrong with that."
"Hm? Wrong with what, Maki-cha—"
"Does Dazai-sensei really trusted you?"
Trying his best to keep his usual bright expression, that is currently hanging desperately on his already unstable composure, Gojo immediately blabber some unimportant things to change their topic in a much more lighter conversation.
