I had dealt with the group's problems as best I could with Rick not being completely fine. He had come back, but he wasn't all there. He had talked to the two prisoners while out though, and I believed he was starting to trust Oscar and Axel. I wasn't going to trust them, but I was going to follow anything the group decided on with them.

"Glenn and Maggie are going on a run, so if you need anything specific, go tell them." I told Carl, as I found him reading a comic in his cell.

"I'll tell them to get Harry and I toothpaste." He replied, before setting down his comic and standing up from his bunk.

I watched as he walked out of his cell, before I headed back down to where Harry was sitting at the table eating. Everyday for the last week, I have been giving the boys little school lessons to make sure they knew some things in case the world ever does pick back up; though I doubt it would pick up where it left off in any way. I placed a couple of notebooks on the table with pencils for the boys, as I waited for Harry to finish eating his oatmeal.

Harry wasn't a big fan of oatmeal at first, but once he realized that there really wasn't much else to eat, he started eating and liking oatmeal. He only liked it when we added sugar though, so I always made sure to have little sugar packets for his oatmeal. While waiting on Harry to finish, Beth came over with Judith and handed the baby to me.

Soon, Carl comes into the room again, and Harry finishes his food, so I was able to start teaching them. I had Harry learning to spell and read, whilst I taught Carl some more advanced lessons, such as math and some science stuff. I also taught him history, but he wasn't as interested in history as he was everything else.

Rick walked around the prison, and sometimes outside, a distant look still on his face. When I seen him walking out of the room once again, I couldn't help but remember what happened when he freaked out on the people Carl tried to save in the prison. I couldn't remember their names, but I could remember Rick practically blowing up at them. When I tried to talk to him, he swore he was fine, but then he also seemed to be seeing something that wasn't there. He didn't tell me that of course, but I could tell from the way his eyes stayed focused on different areas, and seemed to follow a line as if he was watching someone walk.

Anyhow, after a couple hours of lessons, I allowed the boys to run off, as I brought Judith up to her makeshift crib for a nap. She wasn't a loud baby by any means, but when I needed to hear her, I would hear her from inside the block we lived in, or the area Carol cooked. If I wasn't inside and Judith needed me, someone would bring the baby out or just come and get me to come inside.

"I'm going to sit outside for a bit." I murmured to Beth, before walking outside and sitting against the side of the prison, overlooking the giant fenced in yard in front of me.

I could hear the growls of the walkers, and I could see Daryl working on his bike, but nothing seemed to catch my attention. As an hour or so passed, I heard a whistle, and I seen Daryl waving me down to where he was. Standing up, I brushed off my pants and headed down to him.

"You know anything about tools?" Daryl asked, causing me to shrug.

"I know what they look like when told to grab something." I replied, and I heard him chuckle.

"Well, you can be my helping hand." He murmured, making me nod.

I sat near the toolbox and handed tools to Daryl when he said he needed them. While we were working on the bike, I felt the little hair on the back of my neck stand up. Glancing up, I spotted a woman near the fence holding a shopping basket full of stuff.

"Daryl." I whispered, getting his attention.

I pointed to the fence, and he quickly looked up. Daryl stood to his feet and we started to head down to the fence, when I seen Rick headed down there as well. I could tell the woman was bleeding, so I wanted the guys to bring the woman inside so she could be fixed up. After they confronted her, I carried the shopping basket full of baby stuff and a little food.

"Bring the stuff to Carol." Rick commented, and I nodded.

I placed the shopping basket next to Carol, before I went to check on the boys. Harry was coloring in his Spiderman coloring book, while Carl was hanging out with Beth. I knew Carl had a thing for Beth, it was almost too obvious, but she was a bit older than him. I also knew she didn't like him in that way, but I was going to allow Carl to have his first crush.

As I was headed back to where the woman was being held, I overheard her saying that she had seen someone take Maggie and Glenn. She knew where they were, which was good for the group, but apparently where they were being held was a hard place to get into. I wanted to get them back, but I didn't know how we would.

I knew Hershel was going to want to get his daughter back, but as long as he didn't go along, everything would work out for the better. I had to figure out a way to save them with the rest of the group. I knew Rick would help, but I didn't know if he was in his right mind to lead a search and rescue...
