It was nearing past five. Luna sat out on her porch as she sighed. She was really beginning to think she'd done something personally to piss of her brother. Was it just typical teenage hormones? Did she do something to offend him? She barely got a conversation out of him, and the only thing he threw her was attitude.

She checked her phone and watched yet another minute go by. She looked up and down her quiet street and sighed before sitting up. Pathetic.

She then grabbed her empty glass of soda and stood up. An engine then revved up the street before coming to a standstill. Rock music blared out from the truck as Luna turned. She'd recognize that truck anywhere. It was a 1970s Chevrolet truck, blue.

Eddie turned off the music and waved out before he opened the door and dropped down to the side walk.

"Sorry I'm late princess!" He grinned at her.

Luna stared down at him as her cheeks flustered a little.

"You're crazy." She laughed as he walked up to the porch. He winked at her before looking over her house.

"Wow, it's been a while since we've been here. Those summer nights out on this porch." He smiled at her.

"Yeah, all those bug bites." She reminded him with a chuckle.

"Oh fuck! Yeah those were nasty!" He laughed with her.

"So your dad gave you his truck?" She asked, pointing to the road. Eddie half turned and nodded. "Yeah, he finally got a new one. Begged him for this, instead of trading it in. Now it's my baby." He sighed.

"You always wanted it." Luna nodded as they then stood in silence.

"So, I was promised turkey burgers?" Eddie smirked as he walked up the steps, till he was one step down from her.

"Oh yeah! Come on in..." Luna headed inside as he then followed her. She closed over the front door and looked up at him.

"Damn, it really is like Deja Vu." He told her as he looked around her home.

"Come on." Luna pulled his jacket as he looked at her. "Yes, Ma'am." He chuckled as he followed into the kitchen where voices and searing food could be heard.

"Mom, dad." Luna stepped aside.

Lois and Jasper Martin, full of shit and giggles as always stopped making fun of each other and laughing as they looked up at Luna and Eddie. It was Luna's dad that noticed straight away as his eyes widened.

"Eddie? Eddie Munson is that you?!" Her mom spoke up.

"In the flesh." Eddie laughed.

"As I live and breath, look at you son. How have you been?!" Jasper headed over to him and gave him a sturdy hug.

"Ah y'know me Jasper, living life the best I can." Eddie mocked a little as they laughed together. "I'm kidding, Sir. It's great to see you Mr Martin." He then cleared his throat as Lois walked over.

"Hi honey!" She grinned as she gave him a tight embrace. "We honestly thought this one was keeping you all to herself now." She looked over at Luna and sighed.

"Ah well...in all honesty we both have been...caught up in a lot of things over the past couple of years. We're both just as bad." He glanced over at Luna and winked.

"I'm glad the two of you have caught up, you two used to be inseparable!" Lois nodded.

"Well you know how much I love your burgers Mrs Martin, I couldn't turn those down." Eddie joked.

"Oh! You're staying for dinner? Great! So you are the extra guest. I honestly thought it was Kathleen again." Lois rolled her eyes with a thankful smile.

"How is your father doing?" Jasper put a hand onto Eddie's back with a sincere look on his face. Eddie's expression soon turned rather serious before he smiled. "Yeah, good thanks. He's been good." He told him.

"Great, I'm glad to hear it." Luna's dad told him in a more hushed tone as he patted his back.

Eddie's mom and dad had divorced coming on five years prior. She packed up and moved out, last heard she had moved to Rhode Island but Eddie hadn't heard from her and Luna wasn't sure if he had done over the few years they hadn't spoke. It was a sensitive subject of course, but Eddie always put on a brave face for himself and his dad.

Luna and her family were always there for them.

"Okay, we'll be down shortly." Luna spoke up as she began to walk backwards.

"Oh Luna?" Her dad looked at her with his eyebrows raised.

"Yes, door. Opened. I know." Luna nodded and watched as her mom and dad hid a smile.

Wyatt had made his way downstairs to get some soda. As he approached the kitchen he saw Luna and Eddie standing with Mr and Mrs Martin and he froze on the spot. He instantly turned back around and ran upstairs where he burst into Kyle's room and closed the door.

Kyle and Elliot who had been arguing over something about the video game they were playing, stopped bickering and turned to Wyatt who was stuck flat against the wooden door.

"Are you okay?" Kyle asked.

"Um...Eddie Munson is in your kitchen." He told them slowly.

"What?!" Elliot exclaimed.

"What?" Kyle frowned as he stood up. "You're crazy." He told him.

"I can't guarantee that but I am positive he was there! He and your dad were talking like they've known each other for years." Wyatt nodded.

Kyle's expression hardened as he shook his head. He grabbed onto his door knob and pulled opened his door as Wyatt and Elliot jumped behind him. Luna and Eddie were just passing his room as they briefly stopped and the five of them all stared at each other.

"Hey little dudes." Eddie grinned as he waved.

Luna cleared her throat as she walked on with Eddie following her to her room.

The three boys stood in silence staring into the hallway.

"Dude, why is Eddie Munson in your house?" Elliot quietly asked Kyle.

Kyle sighed as he shook his head. "You don't want to know." He grinded down a little onto his teeth.
