Friday Afternoon.

Luna stood in the parking lot leaning against her car waiting on her brother. She twirled her keychain around her finger as she glanced at everyone who passed. She was also looking for Kat, since she felt like she was now avoiding her as well as Patrick.

Luna noticed Eddie walking out of the school. He was talking to Patrick and Nathan and they seemed deep in conversation about something. Eddie seemed skeptical, as he spoke with his hands. She hoped he just walked on by and didn't notice her as she watched him. Deal with one thing at a time, right now was Kat and not Kyle.

She then turned away for a second and spotted Wyatt. You could always see the mass amount of curls and you knew it was Wyatt. He walked into the parking lot with Kyle and Elliot and they were actually walking towards her car. Luna stood up straight as she waited.

"Hi..." Kyle smiled weakly before dropping his eyes to the ground.

"How was school today?" Luna asked.

"I mean, it was school I guess." Kyle nodded as he looked back at his sister.

Progress.

"Hey, weird question but have any of you guys seen Kat today?" Luna asked as she scanned the parking lot. The three of them shook their heads.

"Is everything okay?" Wyatt asked, which made Luna smile.

"Yeah, I'm sure everything is fine." She nodded and patted his shoulder. "Let's go, looks like she got a ride." She then sighed as she unlocked the car. She took one last glance up as she  opened her door.

Kyle made his way into the passenger side.

Luna then spotted Kat walking out. They looked at each other and Kat stopped before she erratically looked everywhere except at her, before she sighed and admitted defeat. She slumped her shoulders and made her way over.

"Hold on guys." Luna poked her head into the car before closing the door and walking around it. "Hey!" She waved as Kat gave her a weak smile. "Kat, is everything okay?" She asked. "Is it Chrissy?"

Kat shook her head and sighed.

"No, it's nothing like that. I'm just tired Luna...tired and embarrassed."

"What happened?" Luna frowned.

"Saturday night. I got high as tits and then made a move on Patrick. He rejected me...how much of a desperate, pathetic piece of work did that make me look?!" She sighed.
"We tried to talk about it the next day but I could hardly look at him Luna, then he leaned in to kiss me and I freaked out. Haven't properly spoken to him since, he did that because he feels sorry for me right?!" Kat stood with wide eyes.

Luna smiled as her as she shook her head. "Okay, Patrick wanted to kiss you because he's into you. Kat, he didn't reject you. He didn't act on anything that night because you were...intoxicated." Luna cleared her throat as she glanced at the car beside her.

"He didn't want to make a move on you because you were like that, trust me. It was the most gentleman thing I've heard in a long time. As far as I can tell as well...he's pretty bummed about the whole thing."

Kat sighed before giving a slight shrug. "Just because we flirt doesn't mean he's into me."

"Trust me. I have resources." Luna nodded.

"Did Eddie say something?!" Kat asked.

Luna didn't answer her as Kat sighed a little frustrated. "Ah god! I'm being an idiot. You're right. Okay, you're right I need to talk to him."
