Thirty six.

After school.

"I actually think I would look pretty cool in a fedora, don't you think?" Eddie joked as he propped one of Luna's old hats onto his head.

"You're not going to wear one of those." Luna laughed as she shook her head. Eddie looked at her rather offended making Luna clear her throat. "You look awesome, very handsome. It's just not necessary." She nodded holding her hands up.

Eddie chuckled as he sat the hat down and walked over to Luna who was sitting on the edge of her bed.

"How...handsome you say?" He slung his hands behind his back as he eyeballed Luna.

Luna stared at him as she smiled. "I say very handsome." She nodded.

"Oh really? Why thank you, princess." He told her quietly, almost a whisper as he got to her face and lifted her chin up with his thumb and forefinger.

Luna's face beamed bright red.

"Shut up." She giggled as she shook her head.

Eddie's eyes focused on hers as he frowned. "Excuse me?" He lowered his head as his eyes stared right through her.

Luna quickly swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat. "Sorry!" She quickly apologized before she shook her head and threw his hand away. "Eddie!" She gasped out as he began to laugh a little mischievously.

"You got nervous, admit it." He nodded.

"You're crossing so many lines here, buddy." Luna smirked as she stared at him.
Eddie continued to stare at her as a small smile reflected on his lips. He took her face in his hands and ran his thumbs across her cheeks before slowly lowering his hands to her neck.

"Admit it." He told her as he got closer to her face.

Luna rolled her eyes as she shook her head. "Make me." She simply said. 

Eddie widened his eyes in surprise before he started to laugh a little. He dropped his head down and kissed her. "That was hot, not gonna lie." He told her against her lips.

Luna giggled a little as she pulled on his shirt, bringing him towards her again. Eddie fell down beside her as he deepened the kiss more. They were disturbed by an abrupt knock on Luna's bedroom door.

"Yeah!" Luna quickly pulled away from Eddie. The door opened a little before footsteps could be heard retreating down the hall. 

"Door opened. Got it." Luna sighed as she wiped her lips a little. Eddie began to laugh as he burrowed his face into her shoulder. He then looked up and smiled before he leaned his and began to kiss her again. As he leaned more into the kiss there was a lighter knock on the door.

Eddie sat back and smiled to himself before shaking his head and running his hand over his face.

"Yeah come on in." Luna quickly spoke up as she grabbed her phone. 

Kyle's head popped in and smiled at them. Eddie and Luna glanced at each other as they sat up straight. 

"Everything okay?" She asked him. 

"Yeah um, I just wanted to come in whilst Eddie was here..." Kyle sighed.

"You doing okay bud?" Eddie asked him a little apprehensive.

"I'm fine, thanks. Listen, I owe you the worlds biggest apology." Kyle began as he nodded.
"The things I said to you and about you...my attitude was really shit and I'm sorry. I honestly didn't know how to react, after everything. I'm sure...Luna has told you but I was really mad at you for a long time man, I thought you were the cause. You're not and now I know that and I'm sorry for how I acted." Kyle sighed, his shoulders lowering as if a giant weight had lifted.

Eddie stared at him quite surprised before he stood up. "Come here lil dude." He chuckled as he and Kyle exchanged a hug. 

"I missed you around man." Kyle sighed.

"I missed you too butthead." Eddie joked as they began to laugh. "Jeez you've really gotten tall!" He gasped as he turned to Luna and patted Kyle's back.

Luna stared at them as she smiled widely before she laughed. 

"We should have a movie night like we used too." Eddie then told them as he patted a hand down onto Kyle's shoulder. Kyle grinned as he nodded in agreement.

"Heh no! You used to put on severely fucked up horror movies. I ain't going through that again, especially with him." Luna pointed to Kyle with wide eyes and watched as the two boys in front of her chuckled.

"Yeah maybe that was a bad idea. I'm a bad influence what can I say?" Eddie shrugged innocently as he glanced at Kyle. 

"We can go to the movies sometime. I'd like that." Kyle nodded. The three of them all smiled and nodded in agreement. 

"Okay well...I better leave you too it. Leave you to make out in peace." Kyle awkwardly shuffled towards Luna's bedroom door.

"Oh! We were not!" Luna gasped. 

"Yeah sure..." He exchanged a glance at Eddie before shaking his head. He then made a slightly disgusted face before he chuckled and left the room and closed over the door only leaving a crack of it open.

Eddie made his way back over to Luna as he sighed. "I think...that was progress." He nodded with a content smile.
