Luna and Eddie had been in his living room listening to music. Checking out all the different music from his dads collection and even some of his own.

"This is great, it feels like we've taken a step back in time." Luna beamed as she flicked through some records. "Your dad always had the best music." She glanced up at Eddie who was standing at the record player and skimming through the back of an album.

"Yeah we have had some bad ass music inspiration." He chuckled.

"Stick this one on? It's from the 60s I believe..." Luna leaned over with a record and a smile. Eddie continued to read before he glanced up and took the record from her before glancing over it.

"Yeah, I actually think this was one of my grandparents..." Eddie changed over the music as Elvis Presley began to play.

"Oh god..." Eddie quietly scoffed as he looked over to Luna.

Luna stared at him before frowning in confusion. "Oh yeah, I forgot. You're too metal for this mushy music." She then rolled her eyes with a smile. "God forbid playing something besides Mötley Crüe or Black Sabbath."

"Black Sabbath actually started in the 60s" Eddie told her.

"Not my point." Luna smiled as she dropped her attention back to the pile in her lap.
"How cool would it be to experience life like this in the 50s and 60s though?" She asked.

Eddie turned to her and smiled. "Grease isn't real life, Miss Martin." He joked.

Luna looked up at him and narrowed her eyes. "Well obviously not in your past life, you were probably part of the Corleone family." She made a face which made him laugh.

"The Godfather is an elite movie of it's time. You saw them, and you even agreed with me."

"Yeah they are great! I wasn't bashing them. I'm just saying when it comes to romance..." She stopped and looked at Eddie who stood rather offended.

"You're saying I'm not romantic?" He asked her.

Luna hid a smile as she shrugged.

"Who's to say I can't do drive in movies or dates at a diner?" He walked towards her slowly. The song that was playing slowed down, ended and a new one started up. Be my baby by The Ronettes.

He held out his hand as Luna quietly judged him. "Come on, come here." He told her with a grin. "I am not moving from this sofa." Luna told him as she shook her head.

"Don't make me come over there and get you, because you know I will." He told her with a smirk as he lowered his head yet his dark eyes stared right through her. He then started shimmying his shoulders a little which made Luna laugh.

"You're crazy." She nodded.

"So I've been told." He chuckled.

Luna sighed as she moved the pile of music from her lap and stood up. She then took his hand and he quickly pulled her in towards him before spinning her.

"Woah chill Munson, where did you get your moves?" Luna joked as she giggled.

"I am full of surprises." He told her quietly as he bowed his head down slightly, making their heads inches apart. Luna stared at him as the butterflies grew in her stomach. The two of them swayed around on the spot as they continued to stare at each other.

"Luna?" Eddie whispered.

"Yeah?" She asked.

Just then a loud alarm started ringing from the sofa which made Luna jump. She gasped a little before sighing.

"Oh sorry, my reminder alarm." She then cleared his throat as she swiped some hair away from her face. She pulled her phone from her jacket and switched it off before double checking the time.

"It's uh Kyle. I said I'd pick him up at nine." She nodded.

"Course, yeah! I can do that and drop you off." Eddie told her.

"Thanks." Luna quickly started to tidy up as she returned everything to the shelves. Eddie turned off the music and then collected his own jacket. Luna made her way to the front door as she stood a little awkwardly shaking her head. She felt her forehead then cheeks and the warmth radiated on her hands.

"Ready to go." Eddie walked down the hallway making her jump. "Great!" She nodded as she opened the door. They made their way into Eddie's truck and they were off.

After nearly half an hour on the road they had reached Wyatt's house. Luna had checked her texts from Kyle and sighed.

' On my way just now! Are you okay? x '

' That's cool, I'm fine :) x'

Luna smiled. He sent a smiling face, perhaps his mood had improved. "Just in here." Luna told Eddie as he slowed down and pulled into the curb. Luna looked out the truck and saw the boys standing at Wyatt's front porch.

"Is that Eddie?" Wyatt asked the boys as Kyle turned around.

"You've got to be kidding me..." He spoke under his breath as he gripped onto his bag.

"Hi guys!" Luna smiled as she waved out from the truck. "Elliot, do you need a ride home?" She asked.

"Oh no my mom's coming to get me, but thank you though!" Elliot waved back as Kyle walked towards the truck.

"Hey dude!" Eddie called out. "You have to get into the back of the truck." He joked and chuckled, yet Kyle stared at him obviously not amused. Eddie's smile faltered as he glanced at Luna. "I was uh kidding...you can get into the seat behind us." He nodded.

Luna opened up the door and Kyle climbed in as he slumped down into the seat.

"See you guys later!" Luna then waved to Elliot and Wyatt as they drove off.

A few minutes into the car journey was silent except from the low volume of the radio in the background.

"Uhh so Kyle...how have you been?" Eddie asked.

"Fine." Kyle mumbled.

Eddie glanced as Luna before he nodded. "You may not actually remember me but - "

" - Oh I remember you." Kyle quickly butted in. "How can you forget Eddie Munson?" He squinted his eyes as he exchanged eye contact through the front mirror with him.

"Oh...kay." Eddie cleared his throat before he shut up and continued to drive.

When they got to Luna's house, she opened the door and Kyle jumped out the truck.

"It was nice to see you dude..." Eddie called after him but he had walked away into the house. "Okay, now I get what you mean." He looked at Luna as she closed over the door and leaned through the rolled down window.

"Yeah, tell me about it." She scoffed. "Anyway...thanks for today. Thanks for dinner, I had...a nice time." She smiled.

"Of course, me too. Thank you." Eddie smiled. "You're the light of my life, Luna Martin." He chuckled.

"And you are mine." Luna giggled as she tapped onto his truck. "Okay, drive safe. Goodnight!" She told him.

"Goodnight? I'll be annoying you all night by many many texts." He laughed making Luna roll her eyes.

"Go on, into the night you go." She laughed as he saluted her before he drove away. Luna took a deep breath before she turned around and headed into the house.
