Forty.

Graduation.

"This thing is really starting to annoy me!" Kat huffed as she tried to blow the tassel from her graduation cap away from her face.

"You're supposed to sit it back a little, not hang it off the front of your head." Luna laughed as she tried to readjust the cap.

"Oh look there's our parents!" Kat pointed over to the family section of the graduation hall and grinned. Luna turned and waved over to her parents, Kyle and Kat's parents. She then squinted and smiled warmly when she saw Ivan Munson sitting beside her dad. 

"Where are the guys? The ceremony is going to start soon...late as always." Kat tutted before fixing her hair around her face. Luna sat down and nodded as she looked around the hall that was now filling up with the senior class.

She then noticed the guys walking in their direction. Patrick in the middle and slightly taller than Nathan and Eddie. Nathan was swinging his tassel around his cap and Luna began to laugh, she nudged Kat.

"Oh god, he's probably high as shit." Kat bit down on her lip and sniggered. 

"Ladies." Patrick greeted them. He then held out his hand and gave Luna a firm handshake before he sat next to Kat. Luna smiled as Eddie sat down beside her, his face telling her a thousand things and not one of them was good.

"This should be illegal." He pointed to his gown and hat before Luna started to laugh. His curls were all set in place under his cap.

"You look very handsome." She giggled as she placed her palm on his right cheek and pecked his left. Eddie looked at her and smiled as his cheeks began to turn red. 

The ceremony started as they both sat hand in hand, fingers intertwined. Luna kept fiddling with his rings, as she twisted them around his fingers. She was beginning to get nervous as their names getting called was getting closer and closer. 

One by one, the senior class's names got called out. Nathan was the first of their group. He made his way up to the stage and took his diploma before giving a slightly high looking smile to the crowd with a wave. Patrick began whistling and clapping louder as they all laughed. 

"Go on buddy!" He shouted.

It was then Luna. Her name got called and she froze for a second before Eddie lifted their hands and kissed the back of hers. She smiled before she stood up and made her way to the stage, as she did, she could the four of them cheer and shout like crazy for her which made her smile widely.

"That's my girl!" Eddie called out as she took her diploma. 

Next was Eddie. He headed up to the stage as they all cheered for him. He took his diploma and then raised his hands to his head before sticking his tongue out imitating a devil expression. Luna began to laugh as she clapped. Once he sat down again, Luna gave him a kiss and a wink.

As Kat marched up onto the stage with a wide grin she bowed her head slightly. "Go on baby girl!" Patrick shouted before wolf whistling. She then plastered a smug look across her face as she took in the crowd before blowing a kiss. 

"Take that Chrissy." She giggled once she sat back in her seat. Luna rolled her eyes with a smile.

Patrick was last of their group. He headed up to the stage and took his diploma before raising his hand in a rock n roll manner. Kat clapped hard as she screamed out a little. 

Finally the ceremony was over. 

"Aw congratulations kids!" Luna's mom cheered out as she grabbed Luna in for a hug. She then grabbed Eddie in and Kat. 

"Congratulations buddy." Mr Munson gave Eddie a hug and a warm smile. 

"Please! I need photographs, gather in." Luna's mom told the group as she gestured her hand for them to all conceal in together. Once more than a dozen photographs were took, they all dispersed around the hall. 

"We did it." Luna smiled as she looked up at Eddie.

"We did." He smiled and took her hands. "Look at us, we're rock stars." He chuckled as he raised his hand and took her chin. "We're going to have the most incredible summer, aren't we?" He asked her. 

Luna stared at him as she took a deep breath. 

"Yeah. Yeah, we are. We're going to make this a great summer." She grinned as Eddie leaned down and pecked her lips. Just then a clicking sound of a camera went off, making them turn around. Luna's mom was grinning a couple of feet away from them as she held up her camera.

"Oh mom!" Luna groaned as Eddie began to laugh.

"Come on you two, I haven't got any of just the two of you yet." She smiled.

Luna and Eddie laughed as they stood together and smiled. They then made a peace sign before eventually flipping off the camera. Luna's mom gasped before she smirked and shook her head. Luna began to laugh as Eddie wrapped his arm around her shoulder and embraced her tightly. 

"Right come on you, time to make your brother stand for pictures." Luna moms held out her hand and sighed. Luna rolled her eyes as she dragged Eddie along.
