One of the things that I find so annoying, so frustrating are people who hurt the ones they love for their own benefits. I can never understand how they can hurt people they love, people they care about.
Because to me, just by seeing how hurt my loved ones are, is enough to hurt me. I just can't ever do that to them.
And these people, I don't think they realise that the kind of "love" that they perceive is nothing more than just obsession. And their victims are blinded by it. Blinded by an illusion. A trickery that makes them think "this is real love. This is what love looks like." It's not.
When you love someone, you'd do anything in your power to see them happy.
Even if it doesn't have to be you.
Even if it means to let them go.
You'll do it because you love them. But if you're not doing that, then clearly you don't love that person. You just love the idea that they're with you and they don't have the power to let you go, because you've intoxicated them with your fake love.
