"No, Grayson! I am not coming to your stupid bachelor party!" Raven heard Damian say on the phone.

She noted how he had hated the idea of going on something like that. He claimed it was pointless and was just and excuse to get people drunk.

Raven didn't mind it. She was happy to spend time with her friends. Yet, something about it had her nervous. The only conclusion she had was that she knew she'd have to do the same thing for when her and Damian get married.

She had thought about that a lot recently. Damian was the one for her, she was absolutely sure of it. He had told her the same thing about her one night where she thought he had cheated on her early on in their relationship. That turned out to be a bit of an argument; Damian was on patrol and ran into Poison Ivy, a villain Raven was unfamiliar with. Safe to say they had a talk about trust that day, a stupid talk that didn't need to happen.

Raven couldn't get the idea of marriage out of her head sometimes. She wasn't quite ready for that yet, but she didn't understand why. The idea had been discussed with Damian, though it was about other people as a way to get their views across.

Apparently marriage was important for an Al Ghul; it was a bond that represented power and entitlement. Damian had said that he didn't care about that, but marriage for him was still important. He said it was so he could show his love, show his dedication and passion. Also so he could show he was willing to make the decision to signify the fact he wanted forever.

Raven felt the same. As a demon, marriage really meant little, yet she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Damian and take the biggest step to symbolise that.

"I don't wanna come because I have better things to do!" Damian yelled. He angrily put the phone down and clearly made an argument for him to deal with later.

Raven walked up to him and pushed him against the wall, her hand on his chest. She felt the need to be seductive and be a relief to him at the same time.

"Put all the passion to good use, Dami." Raven whispered to him. Damian's eyes went wide before he engulfed her in his arms and was kissing Raven hard.

Raven wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss before they fell to the bed. What happened next was clear.

After a while, they were simply wrapped in each other's arms.

Damian playing with Raven's hair and she was stroking his head. She placed her chin atop his and sighed in contempt.

"Feel better now?" Raven asked.

Damian laughed before answering. "Definitely... thank you, Raven."

"Don't thank me, I needed it too." She replied. "You don't have to go to that party, but maybe it'd be nice to spend time with Dick before he's in Kori's hands... poor bastard." Raven said to him.

Damian raised his head and ceased his hands movements. He met her eyes. He was clearly thinking about it. Even if he was angry, Raven would maintain the fearless expression on her face.

"I know what you're saying, I get it. I just don't see why anyone would indulge in that sort of thing." Damian explained.

"Because it's probably one of the last times Dick will get to do that. Marriage means responsibility and he's got plenty of that with Kori." Raven said.

"I don't wanna be apart from you too..." Raven raised her eyebrow in confusion before Damian explained. "...I never know what to do when you're not at one of these stupid things. You bring comfort and help me relax. Grayson will just give me shots all night." Damian confessed. He had always been insecure about parties and such. Raven always did her best to help him come out of his angry shell, but progress was always slow.

Raven placed her hand on his cheek and stroked it with her thumb. "You'll be fine. I feel the same when you're not there, but I always try and enjoy it. Just get involved. If you really need me, I'll portal over and get you out." Raven confidently said with a smile.

Damian smiled in appreciation and kissed her slowly. After pulling away, his smile turned to a smirk. "I'll take you up on that offer and go..." Raven's smile widened. "...just make sure you're not too drunk and portal somewhere else, or do something funny." Damian sarcastically laughed out.

Raven have him a playful slap on the chest. "I won't be that drunk!" Raven yelled whilst laughing.

After that, they went to sleep and finally relaxed at another thing being solved. That wedding was producing another problem.
