The air was hot, summer had been hell. No way that you could stay on a hospital bed for three days with this heat. Thank god for air conditioning.
Raven emerged from the explosion and collapse of the building practically unscathed. Her healing abilities automatically kicking in for herself as well as quick reflexes to stop the debris from skewering her.
The same could not be said for Damian. His condition had drastically improved since that day, but at the time, he was not going to be doing anything at all with those injuries. Chances are he would've died if it weren't for Raven tearfully saving his life. Whilst she was tearful, she was strong, so strong it kind of scared Damian.
Still, the assassin got away. among that, the League was very much at large. After one person and one person only.
Raven.
Damian had sworn that he would stop the League from taking her. However, they knew him and had the spirit of Ra's Al Ghul leading them. This was no easy task to accomplish. The League was dangerous and everyone knew it.
After three days in a hospital bed, accompanied by Raven, Damian could finally go back home and to active duty. Safe to say Raven's healing powers work well.
Raven was away from home just as much as Damian was. She had made it her priority to help heal Damian. Not like he would be happy for her to leave anyway; he could be a clingy boyfriend at times. Not that Raven minded.
Upon returning to their apartment they noticed that it had been pulled apart with a massive banner on the floor, followed by balloons and food everywhere. They had to make sure they were in the right apartment.
As they walked into the kitchen, they noticed that there was basically all the Titans asleep drunk on the floor. The banner in Garfield's tight grip. 'Welcome home' it read.
The couple were unimpressed and decided they could not be bothered to deal with all the Titans drunk. Even Nightwing was there with Kori. They were supposed to be on their honeymoon.
Raven opened a portal underneath them all and dropped them on the roof of the tower with a note explaining how much they emphasised their privacy and they crossed a line. They did break into their apartment, that was very illegal.
"Why the fuck does this keep happening? How does this keep happening?!" Damian asked. He was confused as to how the Titans managed to just get in despite Damian's Pentagon level security system.
"I don't know! It's like they just see our place and think 'huh, look a party room, let's go.' It's so frustrating!" Raven agreed. She and Damian continued to clean up.
As far as the Titans' stunts went this was easily the worst thing thus far. Damian was getting really tired of their antics.
Once they cleaned up, Damian entered his training room and created a board layout of all his targets. Obviously a lot of the League hadn't made any moves there and that was a disadvantage for Damian's information.
"Determined aren't we?" Raven whispered in Damian's ear. A devious smile on her face.
"I won't let them get... youuuuu..." Damian said confidently. Snapping his head to face Raven before being jaw dropped at the sight of his girlfriend.
No clothes except the sexiest black lingerie Damian had ever seen on her. Her stance and posture told him what was about to happen and he was so excited.
Raven felt he could use this after all the shit that had happened. He may be determined on his hunt, but you only live once.
"Wanna?" Raven asked as she tiled her head to the side.
"You know I do and I can't wait." Damian said with a smirk before approaching Raven. His hunt could wait.
I think we all know that happens next 🤔😂
