Raven hadn't really been herself for a while now. She had felt sick and proceeded to vomit often. Given that she hadn't really done much, this was a confusing time for Raven.

She knew that guilt and regret often made people feel sick and she definitely had a lot of that. Two weeks ago she announced (or was discovered) that she had transferred her powers to Damian in order to help him. Now she had her own selfish reasons for doing this, but they were outweighed by her feelings for Damian.

Still, she couldn't shake the feeling that she'd done something bad. Damian proved her wrong a lot. He told her he was happy to accept the power she once had if that was what she wanted. Needless to say he got the hang of them pretty quickly.

This was not the reason for Raven's illness though. Something else was going on and she needed someone's help with it. Damian tried, but he couldn't put a name on it without sounding like something big was happening.

Raven approached the café where she agreed to meet two people who would help her. Donna and Kori were both women, neither human, but that didn't matter when their bodies were the same.

Raven nervously sat down and saw Donna and Kori walk in the door five minutes later. Eagerly, they approached with huge smiles on their faces, not knowing what the meeting was called for.

"Hey, Raven! Good to see you!" Kori shouted across the entire café.

Raven covered her face in embarrassment from all the looks she appeared to be getting. Kori received a slap on the back of the head from Donna and they proceeded to sit down with Raven.

"What's up, Rae Rae?" Donna asked.

"Um..."

"Did Damian pop the question yet? I'd have thought he'd do it after the whole Dark Raven incident." Kori inquired.

"W-well... yes he did." Raven replied. This was not what she wanted to talk about.

"Oh my god! Did you say yes?!"

"Y-yes... but..."

"Congratulations!! I'm so happy for you two!!" Kori again yelled. This time everyone in the café looked pissed off and Kori had to apologise before she got even more looks.

"For the record, I'm happy for you too, but I am NOT doing that." Donna said with a humorous smile.

Raven smiled in response and then looked down after feeling a wave of nausea hit her hard.

"Rae, are you ok? You look... pale, somehow more pale than usual. No offence." Donna asked, concerned.

"None taken. I don't see it as a bad thing. Damian likes it. I-I'm gonna go to the bathroom quick." Raven struggled out.

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I'll be... *gag* I'll be right back."

Kori and Donna both looked concerned and agreed to just keep quiet and let Raven deal with whatever it was.

Raven threw up all her contents from her stomach and flushed the toilet. She felt so weak and could see that she looked like hell in the mirror by the sink. She splashed water in her face and took a deep breath.

Raven slowly walked back to her table and was met with worried gazes from both her friends.

"I thought you didn't really get sick, like long term? Is this because you gave your powers to Damian?" Kori asked.

Raven had explained the situation about her powers to her friends. They showed great support in her decision and even agreed with Damian in that she should be selfish sometimes. It was ok to be selfish.

"That's the thing. I don't know why I'm sick. Damian and I thought about it, but we haven't gotten anywhere." Raven said.

"Tried seeing a doctor?" Donna asked.

"No. They don't have enough information on half demon, half human beings. Technically I can go if it's something like a blood check or pregnancy stuff, but that's it really. I'm immune to most human diseases, even without my powers." Raven explained, her mind still not thinking of any answers.

"Sick in the morning yeah?"

"Yes."

"Nausea and stomach pain?"

"Yes."

"Weird cravings? Weird hormones?"

"Yes." Raven answered, not quite seeing where this was going.

"Raven..." Donna said with a shocked face as she looked at Kori and back at Raven.

"What?" Raven asked, slightly worried.

"You could be pregnant." Kori finished.

Raven's eyes widened. It all made sense. The boxes in her head were all checked off immediately. She hadn't actually considered that. That's why she felt she couldn't have sex the past two weeks, much to Damian's secret disappointment.

"Oh fuck. W-wait, I need a pregnancy test. I need to tell Damian. I need to go and find out and, and..." Raven began to hyperventilate. She felt happy about the news, but it was very soon and unexpected.

"Raven, calm down. We'll get a test with you and then you can go home and do it. Tell Damian... AND THEN TELL US BECAUSE WE WILL FIGHT FOR THE RIGHT TO BE THE BABY'S GODMOTHER!!"

Kori got them kicked out of the café.

Raven obtained a pregnancy test and went home. Damian appeared to be asleep by his target list of League members and Raven chose now as the best time to do it.

Positive.

It felt like an earthquake had just hit Raven's heart. Yet this earthquake brought excitement and anxiousness, pain was not in sight.

"Raven? You're home? Sorry, I didn't hear you come in." Damian abruptly said as Raven sat on the bed with the test on her lap underneath her hands. She said nothing.

"Are you ok? Did you find out what's going on from Dumb and Dumber?"

"..."

"Raven, what's wrong?" Damian looked worried now.

Raven desperately wanted to tell him and her body wouldn't comply. Even as Damian placed his hands on her shoulders and looked her in the eyes with a concerned expression.

After finally snapping out of it, she simply smiled at him and moved the rest result up to him. She could see the light return to Damian's eyes as they widened. The happiness behind them was obvious, even without her empathic powers.

"Raven...? A-are you...?"

"Dami... I'm pregnant."

The smile that emerged on Damian's face was priceless and Raven declared that as the best expression she'd ever seen on his face and the one she loved the most.

"I... I love you. Both of you." Damian said as he tearfully embraced Raven.

"I love you too! I can't believe we're gonna start a family." Raven said as she wrapped her arms around Damian's neck and then moving to kiss him passionately.

They both ended up laughing and crying with joy as they held each other in their arms, promising to never let go of each other, ever.
