Drunken Mess

How had it come to this? Raven kept asking herself this question over and over. The man she loved was drinking a profusely large amount of alcohol.

Damian was a drunken mess.

He hadn't been drunk in a long time. Not only that, but Raven was surprised that he could even get drunk with her powers. Then again, she got drunk plenty, but always managed to avoid a hangover.

Bruce had actually gone down to the Batcave as he had been called by Commissioner Gordon to deal with some stuff.

Damian hadn't been like this for a long time indeed. Raven held her head in her hand and sighed at the man.

"Raven, if I... if I... fuck what was I gonna say?"

"If you don't stop drinking, I will let you sleep on the couch tonight."

Damian's face quickly turned sad and a couple of tears emerged out of his eyes. Raven found this to be an adorable sight, but she was too tired to be nice about this.

"You wouldn't."

"You sure? I don't think this is something you wanna try, Damian."

The tears began to fall from his eyes and he sat on the couch next to Raven and looked at her pleadingly. It was hard for Raven to resist this rare sight.

"Please don't make me sleep on the couch."

"Dami..."

"I promise to stop drinking now, just let me stay in bed and not on the couch."

'Oh my gods this is insane. He's so cute! If we weren't at Bruce's place I would want to lay with him all fucking night and morning.'

Raven had a feeling that they should get going to bed soon. Thankfully, Bruce had a manor full of rooms, so they could get some sleep and get home the next day.

"Raven. Beloved. Habibti."

"Yes, Damian?"

Raven looked at him with a curious face as Damian laid his head down in her lap. She gently stroked his hair and decided to let him be like this until he sobered up.

"When we get married, shall we move somewhere new? I like the apartment, so I'm not opposed to staying there, but I am curious."

"Hmm... I've never really thought about it before. Honestly, it would be nice to have somewhere with more space. Especially with us expanding now."

Raven rubbed her belly, hoping that the not yet born child would be safe and healthy. She pictured a future in which there was one, maybe two kids running around. In the apartment that would be difficult, in a new, bigger place it would be fine.

"Maybe we should move then? We could at least look into some place. Or get a place built for us."

That was definitely the Wayne side of Damian talking. Surprisingly, he sounded a lot more sober now. In all seriousness, Raven liked the idea of getting a place built for them, but maybe it was a bit much.

"We'll look into it. It's about time we started thinking about this stuff with our kid though. Please make sure that you don't have any weapons around when with the baby though."

Damian looked at Raven and smiled. He had clearly sobered up quick. Probably due to having Raven's powers still. He held his hand up to her face and caressed it lovingly.

"If you say so."

Raven smiled back and the two closed the distance with a kiss. She really did feel happy. She knew that soon, she would be getting her powers back from Damian thanks to the help of John Constantine and Zattanna. Nevertheless, it didn't change how she felt.

"I love you."

"I love you, too."

"I hope our baby looks like you."

Raven raised her eyebrow and smirked at him.

"Nope. Gotta look like you."

"Oh come on, if it looks like you they'll be so cute."

Raven blushed a little and playfully slapped him on the forehead. Damian chuckled a little before sitting up and taking Raven in his arms, who leaned into his arms.

"If they look like you, they'll be a real handsome baby."

"Sounds like a lot of this depends on the gender."

"Yeah, I guess so. I'm sure they'll be beautiful regardless."

"Yeah."

Raven looked at Damian and beamed a smile at him. This was probably the happiest Damian had seen her since their proposal, or finding out about the pregnancy. He would always vow to keep her like that.

The two embraced each other in another warm hug and a passionate kiss.

The next day, they would head home and contact the magic users to finally give Raven her powers back.

Sorry this took so long to do. Life has been pretty busy lately and it's Still not completely calm yet 😂

I have actually now worked out a solid plan for this story up until its conclusion. I won't spoil anything, but the next chapters will be intense.
