Training

With Kori gone, Damian and Raven could finally focus on there day. Since neither had a job other than their superhero lives, there wasn't really much to do.

The two would often read or work on a case. Frankly, there was a lack in general crime recently and it cleared up their schedules a little too much.

Neither of them really felt like doing too much other than their usual stuff. So, they went to train.

"Fancy a quick spar? Who knows, maybe I'll beat you this time." Raven said. She smirked at Damian whilst the two were stretching.

"Don't blame me for any humiliation you suffer, Raven." Damian cooly replied with a smirk of his own.

Raven remembered how this became a thing, Damian's training room. When he first started coming over to her place for homey dates, he insisted on keeping fit and training. Raven allowed him to finally build that cursed room once he moved in.

Honestly, it wasn't bad for her. A lot of pent up stress was gone just from a few minutes in that room. Then again, not all of that was from the equipment or even training.

There had been more than one occasion where either one of them ended up pinned down on the floor in defeat and it became... something else.

Raven didn't want to think about how many times they'd had sex in that room. Still, it wasn't that she didn't like to think about it, it was more that she didn't like it being on the room they use for training. She thought they might as well put another bed in there and go there for that, stupid idea, but that's just how it seemed.

"Ready?" Damian asked.

"Born ready." Raven replied.

Damian did his typical right jab to the head, a move Raven was used to completely. She had become very familiar with his moved, but that didn't mean that she could stop them all.

Raven's own moves were taken from him and Kori. Kori made it easier because she had a similar form and physique. Damian's moves definitely suited him more than her.

After she dodged that one she saw his left hand coming. She knew she had to dodge that one and then avoid the kick that came for her abdomen after that.

Before she could react, his leg came into her torso hard. She had miscalculated and assumed him too predictable.

She wasn't out yet though, she very quickly used her magic to enhance the strength of her fist and landed a punch straight to the abs.

Damian went flying back fast and Raven realised she had put way too much power into it.

Damian sat on the floor and coughed viciously. He was gasping for breath and Raven quickly made her way over to him.

"Dami, I'm so sorry! Oh, uh, does it hurt? Let me heal it." Raven demanded. She had done this a few times before. This was by far the most serious one, but she couldn't help it.

"N-no... it's fine. Don't worry." Damian coughed out.

"It's not. That was a really bad one." Raven muttered sadly.

"That's why we do it though, so we can learn how hard to do it. It was a great punch. I'm ok... honestly." Damian said. Raven couldn't wipe the guilty look off her face.

She was crouched next to him, holding onto his back and rubbing it. Damian moved in to hug her, as if to say it was ok. Raven hugged him back and they just sat there while Damian caught his breath.

Raven could never explain why she did that. She didn't understand it herself, she just remembers an overwhelming fear come into affect for a split second.

After they got back to training, to Raven's lack of shock, they ended up having sex on the floor in that room yet again.

Once on patrol, they discovered an abandoned apartment. In it were a ton of ninja stars and blades. All of which had their symbols scratched completely off.

Damian knew the League of Assassins was destroyed and yet he still couldn't get the thought that it was them out of his head.

Damian walked up to the wall and retrieved one of the blades. It matched a League one, but someone could've just found it among the ruins of Nanda Parbat.

Raven sensed his discomfort and suggested they returned home. Damian agreed, but he kept the blade in order to investigate it and find out who it belonged to. A difficult task.
