A few weeks had gone by and Raven was discovering more and more information about her pregnancy. Thanks to recent visits to the hospital, her case was made plain and simple. Since having her powers removed had affected the growing baby, it would more or less be like any other human birth. Only eight months instead of nine.

Raven was excited to hear about that. It was good for her to know that she wasn't going to have to worry about any extra steps or responsibilities. Still, things were definitely not going to be easy.

Damian had recently gone on a reluctant trip to League locations to look into their whereabouts. As he hadn't mastered teleportation, he had to take the longer ways.

Damian stayed in contact with Raven the entire time and made sure she was alright. This was the one time where Damian just wished bad guys could take a year or two off. He just wanted to be with his fiancé and unborn child.

Coming to the wedding, it had to be postponed to after the baby's birth. Raven was insistent on not having a bump stick out of her wedding dress despite Damian telling her he didn't care himself. He had a mix of cheesy reasons that weren't too reassuring.

Raven awoke one day feeling too nauseous to move and too weak to even think about getting out of bed. She reached her hand over to the other side of the bed, still missing it's usual occupant.

"Go easy on me, Honey. Mummy is doing her best you know." Raven said as she stroked the barely visible bump at her stomach.

After hearing a few knocks at the door Raven began to slowly emerge from her bed. Talking to anyone was the last thing she felt like doing at that moment.

Suddenly, the door went flying down and Raven had to do her best to find cover before the door smacked her.

"Oh, uh... oops?"

Raven looked up and saw Jon Kent. Damian's best friend and Donna's boyfriend. Clearly he hadn't thought to stop knocking and just wait for the door to be answered. Now that super strength had just destroyed the door.

"Uuuugggghhhh... you're either paying for that or fixing it." Raven groaned on the floor. An expression of annoyance on her face.

"Well, uh, I don't have cash and I dunno how to fix a door. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that Damian's back and he'll be here in about twenty minutes." Jon informed Raven.

Raven's eyes lit up and she suddenly had a lot more energy and determination. She quickly stood up and began making breakfast for the two of them. She may have done something else too.

"Rae, I don't think this is necessary." Jon said with a kryptonite rope around him.

"Oh it is. You need will tell Damian why we don't have a door anymore and you will learn your lesson." Raven told Jon.

"Is this how you're gonna raise your kid?" Jon nervously replied.

"No, they will be good in the first place and not knock down the fucking door."

"Fair enough."

"I'm home!" Raven heard Damian say as he walked in.

"Dami!" Raven yelled with excitement as she jumped into his arms.

Raven held a smile that said she missed Damian and she was glad he was home. Damian had one that told Raven he was back and wouldn't be leaving for another long while. The two kissed lovingly before Raven winced in pain.

"Are you ok?" Damian asked worriedly.

"Yeah. Just been having a hard time. I think the baby is trynna say hello." Raven said as she looked down to her belly.

Technically it shouldn't be kicking yet, but this baby was still somewhat special and appeared to have an attitude.

"Oh fuck." Raven whispered as she rushed over to the bathroom and vomited the contents of her food from the night before.

"There, there." Damian said.

"Ugh, this is the worst part. Your breakfast is ready btw."

"Thank you, Beloved."

Damian helped Raven get into bed once again after clearing up any mess. He then sat down at the kitchen table and finally noticed Jon in the corner, still tied up.

"Wtf are you doing there?"

"I knocked to hard when I was gonna tell Raven that you're back and I broke the door." Jon guiltily replied.

"Oh yeah. You're definitely doing something about that."

"I know."
