Raven couldn't control herself, she absolutely couldn't control herself. She had trained and prepared everyday for the worst of threats. She had fought off her father three times and saved the world countless times after all that. Yet, she was never prepared for this.
Damian in a tuxedo seemed to hit her differently.
There he was, adjusting his bow tie with delicacy. Keeping a calm and focused expression as he looked in the mirror. Raven could smell his deodorant and after shave, giving her the most wonderful smells on him she'd ever smelled. It was honestly a lot for her. This was not the time for her to be turned on.
Damian looked over to her with a warm and confident smile. His eyes glancing up and down. Taking in the tight navy blue dress she wore. The gap that left a slight amount of cleavage open. The long material that went all the way down to her ankles. He loved it.
He didn't know where to start with her in general. Her lavender smell was stronger than ever. She was never one for wearing makeup, but the small amount of eyeliner she wore and the black lipstick were making Damian very excited and very in love.
She blushed as Damian looked over before regaining her composure and smirking at him. She glided her hands down her dress, clearly trying to get attention from him. This was bold for her, but she didn't regret it.
"Like what you see, Dami?" Raven asked playfully as she walked over from the bedroom doorway. Her hand placed over his chest and their eyes locked.
"You... look exquisite. So beautiful." Damian nervously, but honestly, told her. He began to raise his hand up to caress her cheek before it was stopped by Raven. A confused look emerged on Damian's face.
"Sorry. This makeup took a while and was extremely tedious. I just don't want it ruined for when we get to the wedding." Raven explained. She had put a few touches of makeup on the rest of her face, but it wouldn't really show thanks to her pale complexion.
"Are you saying I won't be able to kiss you in case your lipstick comes off?" Damian sadly asked. Raven giggled and nodded.
"Hey cheer up. You're best man, you need to be ready. Besides," Raven whispered. She was slowly approaching his face to the point where they were almost touching. "I'm wearing that lingerie you like."
Damian's eyes went round and wide. He knew exactly what was going on here.
"You mean...?"
"Mhm." Raven nodded. A cheeky smile on her face.
Damian's jaw dropped and his excitement went through the roof. He loved one, just one, lingerie that Raven had more than any other. It was a dark blue and black. Making a colour close to her leotard and her dress.
"Alright, Horny boy. We gotta get going or we'll be late." Raven said with a laugh.
Damian shook himself out of his trance and looked at his watch. At that rate they would be ten minutes late. Damian, unfortunately, liked to be punctual a bit too much.
On there way there, Raven thought about all that had happened in the last year. Leaning back in her car seat, she began to reminisce. She remembered the first time Damian and her had announced their relationship to the team. Garfield had apparently cried for half an hour then.
Then her mind returned to the first time she and Damian had sex. It was very awkward at first; being best friends prior and virgins at the time made it nearly impossible until they just pushed all that aside and ended up having a successful first time.
Then there was the time that Damian moved in with her. She remembered that well because, that was the time that she was introduced to Bruce Wayne (aka Batman.) as Damian's girlfriend. Raven wasn't too sure what his opinion was, but she had not spoke to Bruce since then, five months ago.
She found it to be slightly odd how her mind turned to Damian a lot when he was in the seat next to her, driving. As she looked over to him, she simply smiled and closed her eyes in satisfaction.
"Can't drive if you keep looking at me like that." Damian humorously pointed out as he glanced at Raven for a spilt second. Raven blushed and turned the other way.
"Sorry. Just thinking about how lucky I am if you know what I mean."
"I do. I really do." Damian said as he glanced back at Raven with a loving smile.
They commented on how it was Dick and Kori's wedding and they needed to save the lovey dovey stuff for them.
That day would also be a day to remember.
