It was in pieces... in absolute tatters. Fragments shattered everywhere. The thing that was able to please every person it provided for. Everyone loved it.
Raven couldn't believe it was gone. Truly, it was a day to mourn. The loss of one of the most beloved things in her home. Something she and Damian couldn't do without, yet he had murdered it.
"You... blew up... THE FUCKING OVEN!?" Raven yelled at the top of her lungs.
Damian stood in the corner of the kitchen, his head down in shame. He was not proud of what he had done either. In fact he was just as devastated as Raven was.
"I'm sorry." Damian mumbled.
"What the fuck did you even put in there?" Raven angrily asked. He looked at Damian with a questioning look whilst maintaining a glare as much as she could.
"I put some chicken in and I think one of my secret blades fell in there." Damian quietly explained.
Raven's glare intensified. She was almost going into demon mode from the anger. The only thing holding her back was the satisfaction that she was causing Damian fear. She could feel it and it felt kind of good.
"Beloved, I will buy..."
"Don't 'Beloved' me DAMI. Calling me that will not work this time. You have to suffer for this. Not just by buying a new oven." Raven threatened.
"Ok, how then?" Damian asked.
"I will be deciding everything we do for sex for a week. You will go and visit Jason and tell him to stop getting you drunk when he needs you to. Finally, you're not allowed to use the new oven until you have gotten rid of all those blades you have." Raven dictated.
Damian was absolutely powerless to stop Raven from demanding all of this. He deserved it. The amount of meals they'd cooked for each other using that very oven was just ridiculous. It was amazing at getting it everything just right.
"I understand, Habibti." Damian submitted. The only person he ever did submit to was Raven. Never another soul.
"Wait. You were cooking for me weren't you? You're vegetarian, you wouldn't cook a chicken for yourself." Raven detected.
"Yes, I was cooking for you." Damian replied.
Raven's angry expression softened slightly. They'd made no plans for dinner or a date that night. He had clearly tried to prepare something nice for her and it had backfired. She found it hard to stay mad at him after knowing that.
Damian looked up and saw Raven was thinking about what he had said. Maybe he was safe, maybe it would all be fine, maybe...
"I appreciate the thought, my love, but there is nothing that can save you now." Raven said, detecting Damian's hope. The hope she had just shattered.
Just like the oven.
Sorry this is very short, but it's more of a filler chapter. I would've updated last night, but I was busy and didn't go to bed until half one in the morning.
Next chapter will further the plot so look forward to it.
