The east end of this city is industrial, with an underlay of street rat vibes. A train yard takes up the entirety of first avenue, kind of making a person forget they're really on first avenue: the beginning of the downtown hub – or, more locally known, "The Bowl".

From first avenue backward is the place for small boutiques and stores that nobody really uses, because this city isn't as big as Vancouver, where shops like that would be welcomed. Overpriced restaurants make up another portion, and the last bit is made up of government buildings – also overpriced, probably for consistency.

Since everything in this city is, in fact, overpriced, the street rat population has become a reoccurring story on the five o'clock news.

It's like this hicktown thinks it's a more northern Vancouver – it thinks it's elegant, diverse, bigger than it really is. When really, it's dusty and polluted, prejudice and judgemental, and overdeveloped with things that the city has no use for because city council believes if they create a Vancouver replica, all of their prayers will be answered.

A person will lose their soul here, with all the facades it puts on.
