Niall and Zayn came back with Liam's mum and dad. They looked terribly worried and the mother was clinging to Niall. 

I stood immediately and went over to them

"Mr and Mrs. Payne.. I'm Louis Tomlinson. I drove them here. I'm so sorry you two had to find out this way" I shook the father's hand and the mother hugged me

"Thank you for taking them here and staying here.." she whispered

"Of course, ma'am.. the Doctor told us there was papers for you to sign before anyone can see him" I explained to her 

"Right, of course" the man said as he walked over to the receptionist

"Louis?" Niall's hoarse voice said from behind the woman

I stepped over to him and he hugged me

"This is scary" he whispered

"It's okay, bub.. do you want me to stay here with you?" I asked quietly

"Yes please.. having Zayn and Ash is helpful but you're my best friend.. I just.. I don't want you to leave, Lou" he sniffled as he spoke and I knew I would stay with him

"His mum and dad are gonna fill out some paperwork.. lets go sit, babe" 

I took him back to our seats and Zayn patted his leg. Niall was sat on my lap since the rest of the chairs were taken and I didn't mind.

He snuggled into my chest and I gently ran my hand up and down his arm, trying to keep him calm.. Eventually, he fell asleep. I don't blame the lad. He's been out all night and in a big, frightening situation.. he hasn't slept all night or morning and now he's comfy and warm. 

When his parents were done filling out the papers, they went back to see him first.. I looked over at Zayn who was picking at his nails. Ashton was tapping his feet and staring up at the ceiling.

"Z" I whispered

he looked over and raised his eyebrows at me

"You should call Gigi.. I'm sure she's worried.." 

He nodded and got his phone from his pocket. As he wondered off down a random hallway, Ashton looked over and smiled at me and Niall.

"He's always talking to Liam about you guys.. You and Harry, I mean" he whispered so he didn't wake the blonde up

"oh.. all good things, I hope.." I smiled a little

"He says Harry likes to wear dresses too. That's really cool. And he says you always take care of them both.. you're a good friend, Tomlinson"

"Thanks.. he likes you lot, too.. I think it's nice he's got both our groups. He's a sweet boy, I hate to think that he can get hurt. He's.."

"Fragile" Ash finished my sentence, "I know.. Liam's always warning us to be nice to him"

I grin and so does he

"Liam really likes him, then?" I asked cautiously

"He won't admit it out loud. But they're always on the couch together or kissing in the car. He's never been like that with anyone.. and I've known him for a long time"
