CHARLIE AND CAROLING WERE IN the Lockwood house, trying on dresses for some secret thing Caroline was planning. She wouldn't tell Charlie anything about it, and she was thinking that Care just wanted to borrow her clothes. She had a very large selection because of her mom's tea parties, dances, and all the other events.

The younger girl's mind was elsewhere, however, and she was more focused on what happened the night before. It all seemed like a blur, and she had hoped that she would wake up and it would all have been a dream. Unfortunately, that was not the case.

She had killed someone. Her kill count was now up to two. She was almost a serial killer. She had taken the life of another being, someone that had so much more life to live. And the worst part was that, because of her stupid wolf nature, she enjoyed it. She found pleasure in plunging that wooden stake into Vicki's heart, and she hated herself for it.

On a lighter note, she had absolutely no idea what to do about the JJ situation. She was so confused. A girl had kissed her. She had only ever kissed a girl on a dare or in a game of spin the bottle at a party. JJ Martin had kissed her, and she had never been more happy. What did that mean?

The brunette sighed, picking up another red dress and walking over to the mirror to hold it up against her body to see how it looks. "Can you tell me anything about this party? I mean, is it fancy? Am I gonna be doing keg stands? I need to know."

"Fine. Can you keep a secret?" Caroline asked, and Charlie nodded quickly, turning to look at her blonde friend. "Damon asked me to throw a birthday party."

The Lockwood girl furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "For who?"

"For Stefan. Apparently, he's too broody to throw his own party, so I have to do it for him," the Forbes explained to her. She then started flipping through the closet in hopes of finding something that would fit her and look cute. She was about six inches taller than the younger girl, so it was hard.

Charlie nodded, turning back to the mirror, contemplating whether she even wanted a dress and asking, "Okay, and where is it?"

"The Grill."
