MYSTIC FALLS HAD WAY TOO MANY HOLIDAYS. It was honestly hard to keep up with, especially considering all of them had basically the same name. Tonight was the Founder's Party at the Lockwood mansion, and yes, they did have a Founder's Party earlier that year as well. So, Charlie was really confused. So, that was why she wasn't in the best mood when she walked into school that day, and seeing her brother and Jeremy talking only made that worse.

They were sitting on a couch in the stoner pit, and it didn't look like they were having an argument. However, that didn't mean that that was a good thing. When Tyler got up and left, she made her way over to the Gilbert boy.

"Are you guys fighting again?" she questioned before plopping down next to him on the very worn couch. She honestly had no idea how they got a couch there, but they did.

He shook his head. "Uh, no. We were talking about Vicki."

"Oh, crap," she exclaimed, eyes widening and straightening up and turning to him before apologizing. "I am so sorry. I forgot about that."

"How could you forget about that? Weren't you and Caroline the ones that found her?" he asked with furrowed eyebrows. You think finding a dead body that would have a bigger impact on a person.

She sighed, running a hand through her hair. She had had other things on her mind with the full moon coming up and having to face her parents in less than twelve hours. "Yeah, and I don't know. My brain's a little fuzzy today."

"What do you think happened?" he asked, leaning back on the couch and taking a hit from the cigarette in his hand. She was surprised that he wasn't showing any signs or sadness. Well, of course, there were some, but he didn't seem extremely affected by the Donovan girl's death.

"To Vicki?"

"No, to the comb I lost this morning. I just couldn't seem to find it," he answered sarcastically with an eye roll, causing her to giggle just a little bit. What did she think he was talking about? "Yes, to Vicki."

She raised her hands in surrender. "Okay, no need to get hostile. I have no idea what happened." It was a lie, of course since she knew exactly what happened to the Donovan girl. She was turned into a vampire and staked by the one and only Salvatore brothers, and Jeremy knew that too. He had just been compelled to forget it.
