CHARLIE WAS WALKING IN THE PARK, AND SHE WAS WORRIED. Actually, she could not tell if she was worried or absolutely livid. Jeremy had walked out after throwing himself in between Damon and the girl that had been flirting with him, and now he had hijacked her house with her brother and Matt. He was supposed to be moving in since Damon was really unpredictable, but she had not spoken to him recently and wanted to make sure that the move was still happening because it was supposed to happen that day.

Even though she wanted to be extremely petty, she decided the best method to even get him to want to talk to her was to act more worried. So, as she was walking, she was leaving a voicemail on Jeremy's phone because he had still not picked up.

"Hey, Jer. It's me, Charlotte Lockwood, your girlfriend," she reminded him, and she laughed lightly in an attempt to lighten the mood. "Please, just answer your phone and let me know that you're alright. I know you're at my house, and if you don't answer soon, I'm coming over."

She hung up and stuck her phone back in her pocket. She had been staying in Caroline's room at Liz's house for the night while they used her house, and she was pissed that they stole the house that she had been staying in and paying for — with compulsion, but whatever — to have a broment wit Tyler and Matt.

Since Caroline was still at college, Charlie was really shocked when she saw her standing in the living room when she got back. She turned right back around and headed back down the driveway. She heard the door open and close behind her, and Caroline called, "Charlie—"

"I don't want to talk, Caroline," she responded, cutting off her best friend. She kept walking.

Caroline ran after her, her botts clicking against the ground. She was finally able to grab the brunette's arm and spin her around to look at her. "Please, just let me explain."

"Caroline, you slept with the man that killed my mother, that turned both me and my brother into hybrid and then made us run around and do his dirty work for him," Charlie reminded her, deciding that if she could not escape, then she would use guilt as her weapon. "He tried to kill you twice and the rest of us on so many other occasions. I just don't understand how you could see the good in him."
