CHARLIE DID NOT CONSIDER HERSELF A PARTICULARLY JEALOUS PERSON. However, she was definitely not enjoying watching Liv and Jeremy talk from across the Mystic Grill. The restaurant was empty except for the two of them and Charlie, Tyler, and Matt, who were watching them as they discussed a plan. Tyler raised his eyebrows. "So, what's up with those two?"

"Cliff Notes – Liv goes to Whitmore, she's a new witch and Bonnie's teaching her magic," Matt explained to him, not wanting to go through the entire story about Liv trying to save Jeremy's life and all of that.

"You left out the part about her being hot," the Lockwood boy responded, causing his sister to roll her eyes at him. He was really not helping her in her mission to not be jealous. "Like, weird hot."

She shook her head and glared at him before turning her gaze back on the blonde girl that looked particularly flirty as she spoke with Charlie's boyfriend. She told her brother, "Shut up."

"Oh, please," he scoffed when he realized why she was being so crabby. He chuckled at her because he had seen the way that Jeremy looked at her. It was the look that Nathan gave Haley in One Tree Hill. "Gilbert is so in love with you it's gross. You don't need to be jealous."

"I'm not jealous," she insisted, rolling her eyes, offended that he would even suggest that.

He shot her a look that let her know that he did not believe her. Lockwoods made a distinct face when they were jealous, and he knew that because he had worn that face about a hundred times when it came to Vicki and Caroline. "Keep telling yourself that."

"You're the ones with the vamp ears," Matt reminded them, and Charlie had not even thought about trying to listen in to the conversation. He gestured over to where the two were sitting and waited for his friends to tell him what was happening. "What are they talking about?"

"I have no idea. I can't hear anything," Tyler answered.

Charlie tried as well, wanting to make sure that they were talking about appropriate topics, but when she tried, all that she could hear was static. "Me neither." She paused for a moment before she realized what was happening. "She's doing a silencing spell."
