THEY'RE ROMANTIC DAY HAD GONE DOWN THE DRAIN QUICKLY. Charlie was all right with it because they had found her brother. Jeremy was adding some wolfsbane and vervain to a bottle because the freaking Traveler was still inside Tyler, and they decided to use that to their advantage.
"When we planned our romantic day together, I wasn't picturing you, me, and two other guys, one of which being my brother. Plus, your ex," Charlie sighed, but then she spun around, feeling bad immediately. "No offense, Bonnie. I love you."
"None taken," Bonnie replied with a laugh. They were in the Salvatore cellar with Matt and Jeremy, and Tyler was chaining himself up in front of them. Once he was secure, the plan was to summon the Traveler using their little magic word, Vyjit, and then torture him until he told them everything they wanted to know.
"Trust me, neither was I," Jeremy told his girlfriend, and they headed into the cellar and glanced between the two guys as the women followed behind him. "One part wolfsbane, one part vervain. All together, the dumbest idea that either of you have ever had."
Matt shook his head, holding his hands up to defend himself as he gestured to the older Lockwood was sitting on the ground and working on securing the chains. Charlie stepped over and helped him tighten it the rest of the way, and Matt told them, "Don't look at me. This is all Ty."
"These should hold. Let's do this." Tyler took a few deep breaths. Even though he would not be present during the conversation and would not be able to remember anything that happened, they still did not know whether he would feel all of the pain that his body was going to go through. He was definitely going to feel the after effects.
"Not to be the only girl here, but I can't watch this," Bonnie told them, shooting Charlie a look like she did not know how she could sit through the torture of her brother's body, even though it was not him. It would not be fun, but Charlie needed answers. "I'm gonna go upstairs."
Matt sighed, and they all backed up a bit. They knew how to summon the guy, but they did not know how to get Tyler back. "Ty, once this guy pops out, we have no idea when you'll come back again."
