CHARLIE WAS IN THE HALLWAY, talking to her girlfriend about who knows what when her brother jogged up to her with a panicked look on his face. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion when she saw his state. "Hey, Ty, what's wrong?"

"Can I talk to you for a second?" he questioned before glancing between her and the blonde girl standing next to her. After a second of her not answering or moving, he added, "Alone?"

"Uh, yeah, sure," she responded, sending JJ an apologetic look for leaving her. The other girl, because she was so amazing, just smiled and nodded understandingly and watched as Tyler dragged his sister through the hallway.

She was really confused when they walked outside and to teh Stoner Pit, which was abandoned, and his grip on her forearm was starting to hurt because of how tight he was holding onto her. Something was seriously wrong, but before she could ask, he let go of her, whipped around, and pointed an accusing finger at her. "You knew!"

"What?" she asked, confused as to what he was talking about. She knew a lot of things that he did not know, but there were very few that he would get this angry about.

He repeated, louder and angrier this time, if that was even possible. "You knew!"

"I don't know what you're talking about," she told him, and she was telling the truth. He was going to have to be a little bit moer specific if he wanted her to understand why he was so mad. She thought about it for a second, and realization came to her just as he said what it was.

He jaw dropped, speechless when she knew and he clarified, "You knew that Mason was dead, and your little vampire friend killed him." She had absolutely no clue what to say. She knew deep down that that day would come eventually, but she had prayed that it would never or that it would at least be a long long time before he did.

"Tyler..." she trailed off, trying to defend herself, but his name was all that came out of her mouth because she knew that nothing she could say that could comfort him or convince him that she was doing what she thought was best for everyone as a whole.

She knew that she needed to tell him. She knew that it would never remain a secret with the amount of people that knew. She knew that if anyone was going to tell him, it would have to be her because that would be the best. There was also one thing that she was pretty sure of — the person that told him.
