CH0 ARLIE, CAROLINE, AND TYLER WERE ALL PAINTING AN OLD Volkswagen Bus to be an advertisement for Homecoming. Caroline reached her hand out to Tyler who was standing next to her. She did not trust him with any of the painting stuff, so he was like her nurse, handing her stuff. "Hey, can you hand me the glitter gun?" He did as he was told. "Thanks."

"Hey, can't we diss the decorating and go grab a bite?" the boy asked his girlfriend, and Charlie rolled her eyes from where she was painting the 'C' on the bus. She had been able to satisfy her blood cravings with just blood bags that Damon and Caroline got for her, but her brother had been having a harder time and seeking something more living.

The Forbes girl clearly did not understand what he meant and just pointed to her bag that was sitting on the picnic table. They were just outside the school building. "Oh, I have a thermos in my bag.'

"I mean a real bite. Rebekah knows some people who like to be fed on. They're into it, we don't even have to compel them," he explained to her, and Charlie scrunched her nose up, not sure if she would like that too much. That was a little weird — getting turned on by someone jabbing their teeth into your neck and drinking your blood.

"Okay, first of all, I finally almost just got your mother to stop hating me, so I probably don't wanna get caught in some weird vampire foursome with both of her kids," the blonde girl pointed out, and her boyfriend made a face like he was not planning on inviting Charlie. "And secondly, quit hanging out with Rebekah the evil blood slut. Charlie's sired to Klaus, and she's not besties with her."

Tyler sighed, " Just keep the claws in tonight at the dance, okay? For me?"

"So, who has the misfortune of being compelled to be her date?" his sister questioned, and Caroline smiled at the not-so-subtle jab at the Original girl. She was happy to know that at least Rebekah would not steal her best friend from her.

Tyler shrugged as if it was no big deal before answering, "Matt said he'd take her."

Both girls' eyes widened because Matt was one of the last people that should go with Rebekah. He was definitely not smart enough to resist her charm, and she was hot. He would probably end up jumping in bed with her the minute he saw her or something, and Tyler acted like this was such an inconvenience to the Donovan boy. "What? You set her up with Matt?"
